The Loge was in a very convenient location between the downtown area and major roadways. It was quiet, safe, clean and welcoming. The staff was enjoyable and attentive if anything was needed. I would definitely stay there again.

Overall I thought it was a nice place to stay. The beds were comfortable and clean. It was vey convenient for what we were up to. And there was a nice espresso barista in the morning. The other guests were very helpful and friendly. There were a few maintenance issues, such as a bathroom door that wouldn't close and the shower heads that were pretty low.

Room was not as appeared in pictures. Unit was upstairs and the stairs to get to the room are not safe. Room had mold. And the curtains were shredded and torn. There was visible dirt and the sheets did not look clean. The floor in the room had soft spots. Tbis room did not feel safe.

The room has everything we needed, minus a hairdryer. Checking in late was easy. The 2nd floor walkway was very creaky and felt unsafe. Since it’s a commuter hotel people were coming and going at all hours and it was very noisy.

Loge has been our go-to motel when we want to break up the drive from Oregon to California. The room is dark with no overhead lights and the shower is tiny but it's always been priced well and we've liked the overall location and vibe. However, I think this stay will be our last. They've added a $25 "resort" fee to borrow equipment but this makes no sense when you're just stopping for 12 hours to sleep. So now the price is comparable to the Best Western and that's where we'll stay on our way back this week.

The LOGE is a fun, outdoor themed, dog friendly place with nice grounds and close proximity to the freeway. I loved that it was just far enough off the main road that it was calm and quiet. Our room had two very comfortable beds and was very spacious. Overall, I'd recommend, especially with pets. I had two minor issues with our room, one was the heater/air unit. It was very loud. The other was the fact that the tub/shower room was in a bit of disrepair. The tub seemed rusty/stained, the trim around the tub was coming off and there was a hole in the ceiling where a fan/light should've been.

I love staying in Mt. Shasta, and LOGE provided the perfect vibe for this trip. I especially loved the little cafe and the fireplace outside.

Personally I will never return to this property, at check in time my room code did not work and I tried to go to the office which was “closed early” and when I called they answered the first time and after I got no answer. Ended up waiting outside my room for 17 minutes with my 5 year old. After that they have what you call a “resort fee” which allows you to check out a bike or snow shoes or anything similar- well since they closed early there was no one to allow me to check out any of the items so I paid 25 for nothing because they decided to close early that day. No refund for the resort fee for the day we couldn’t use anything. So very disappointing to pay for something I do not get to use.

Everything was decent, although the microwave didn’t really work. The door needs a weatherstripping, got cold, no matter how hot the heater blew. The room was a great idea. It was just poorly put together. The construction was horrible. The staff was great though, accommodations were awesome

This location was nice but definitely limited to things. Says amenities included but theres no staff available for help and when it’s snowing can’t really use anything. Also, the “cafe” that is listed on their site isn’t even accurate. We thought we’d be able to just order food and when we got there. It was only little pastries that didn’t even look fresh and coffee/ tea. No other food. We had to drive to go get something and yet before I booked here they said that the cafe would be available and food on site which wasn’t true. We made it work and drove but thank goodness the weather wasn’t too bad.

The rooms worked great for our large group, one complaint was that the heaters in the rooms were SOooo loud! At times it sounded like a helicopter was landing!

Our kids loved making smores, whitch was included. It was also convenient to have a common area that included a kitchen where we were able to make dinner one night. Being a dog friendly place is also a must for us. So the Lode was a perfect place for us.

When we first pulled up, we were very unsure but we grew to love it. Beds were comfy, decor was funky. They even had equipment setup for a hammock in tbe room....my daughter ended up sleeping in the hammock & loved it! Smores at 5 are a nice touch. We did not go but love the idea! We were downstairs & there was a lot of noise from the room above us but it calmed down at 11. This could be an issue if you like to sleep late and those above get up earlier....

Hotel didn’t have hot water. I took 2 luke warm showers at best. Three other members in my family had same experience. Front desk staff had 2 different takes. One said “it’s been a problem in the past” the other said “we’ve never had that issue” and offered nothing in compensation or solution. A real bummer since we skied every day. Otherwise the place was nice.

Hi Kristyn, we are sorry about the water issues in your room, we didn’t get any other guests that had issues with the water temp and you notified us 7pm on your second night which doesn’t give us a lot of time to solve any problems. We have a plumber coming to look at the room and find out why it isn’t getting any hot water. We hope you give us another chance in the future since you enjoyed the rest of your stay.

The bathrooms for dirty and moldy. The shower leaked at the shower head look like it was leaking behind the wall. There was pools of water behind. The toilet is black mold everywhere place gave me allergies to flare ups. The pillows were pretty gross. None of the sheets are coverings smelled like they've been cleaned

Gears towards mountain bikers and skiing. Clean, easily navigated set up for double queen. interesting rooms ! The hammock is a surprise. No clutter! Property is close to mt shasta town but completely isolated of city grunge. 5 min from snow in February. Wooden stairs on left of property need replacing. You can feel them give as you step upon them. I did not like EVERYTHING on email and having no hardcopy from the reservation desk. She couldnt even tell me what my total was cuz it was made thu 3rd party site. Res gal was nice. No breakfast?! Neat tent/ bike acloves for spring/ summer. Would like to try then.
