Nice rooms overlooking Great Sand Dunes National Park. Adequate breakfast. Unfortunately after Labor Day there is no place close by to eat dinner. Convenience to the park is its biggest plus.

Great location at foot of the Great Sand Dunes. Rooms are simple but very clean with comfy beds, lots of towels and Dive toiletries. Minutes away from tge Oasis where you can get an excellent meal. Very good value and view of the dunes can't be beat.

Perfect location when going to the park and has very accommodating staff. Room was surprisingly well maintained which compliments a great view of the sand dunes

Our bed was wet due to a roof leak. It was hard to find our way around due to lack of lighting. Breakfast had nowhere to eat except picnic area outside but it was cold on the 40s in morning. Kitchen lacked hot chocolate and only had coffee. Nice concept but very poorly run. Only good thing was proximity to great bear dunes national park.

We loved staying in one of the domes and ability to see the stars through the skylight. Our view from the little porch was great. Breakfast was good, with a lot of options. It was nice to be so close to the Dunes.

It was one of the worst hotels i’ve stayed at in 10 years, but it was close to the national park. One night was enough. Breakfast was bare minimum, but views were beautiful from room. This whole place was bare minimum. Rent sandboards from somewhere else.

We had to det a different accomodation, because tha description by Expedia was not true. We booked a dome tent with private bathroom and coffe maker, etc. Even there was picture about bathroom. In reality, nothing, only bed. We were informed, that this is not the first time, when the info by Expedia was not correct. We got from the lady at reception a very nice higher price room for no additional charge Thank to her!,

It's pretty much the only option for indoor lodging near Great Sand Dunes...but luckily it's a great one! Clean, comfortable, and lots of little thoughtful touches like the sheltered, well-appointed grill area.

This is a wonderful place to stay to see Great Sand Dune NP. Very quaint place to stay. Alexx was very nice at check-in. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful view of the dunes, it is a lovely site for a morning walk. It's next to the national park sign, and the store, sled rentals, and dining area were very convenient. Would absolutely recommend this place to others!

the only good thing about this property is every room has a balcony which gives a really good view of the great sand dunes But this place is poorly maintained. Bathroom doesn’t have an exhaust fan. we turned on the AC for 10 min and whole room stinks(probably ac has never been serviced). The whole room is sticky and even the beddings are pretty old and we didn’t feel comfortable through out the stay and we just wanted to leave soon. Additionally our balcony door doesn’t have a lock which is a safety concern as this property is almost very close to the road and balconies face the road We paid ~200 for a night to stay here and i don’t think that price is justified. They are better hotels within 20-30 minutes of great sand dunes. Better stay there and atleast you will be able to sleep peacefully

Great place to stay when you are at the Sand Dunes. We were in a RV with a beautiful deck built onto it with patio furniture facing the Sand dunes and Mountains. Our RV was clean had plenty of space, refrigerator, microwave, stove, shower, indoor plumbing everything. It was a very comfortable. We will definitely go back and stay here.

Very convenient hotel within minutes of the Great Sand Dunes. Only hotel close and very nice rooms with tons of space. Not many dining options nearby.

This is an old motel which has been renovated and the decor improved. Breakfast is grab and go which was adequate for our needs. Best thing about this place is it’s proximity to the National Park.

Simple & basic but after a day on the dunes the AC, Hot Shower, King size bed and Cable TV was a godsend. They are the only hotel room within 45 minutes drive so it’s not like they are competing for business with anyone. 5 min to the dunes. The only restaurant within 45 minutes drive is a minute away. While we were there they closed early due to a water problem and we were stuck with nothing short of an hour and a half round trip drive. Fortunately we had some leftover road food. They were open the next morning and it was fine. Diner grade. The lodge was fine in all regards. Consider bringing a towel. Their tiny, white, scratchy, bleached to death towels need an upgrade.
