We had a comfortable room in a delightful area of Montreal, close to Mont Royal Park. Walkable to downtown or just a few minutes away by Metro. Our first stay in a Sonder - excellent formula. The very well equipped kitchen gave us the option of eating in or eating out. Ideal!

We LOVED our stay and hope to be back. Super-close to our daughter's home, every imaginable food/shopping option, the Metro, etc. etc. and we were able to park right out front every time we wanted to. Unit had great windows, good space, very comfortable, new clean and bright. Thank you!!!

The property was lovely and a gorgeous room to stay in! The room was fairly large, had a fridge, microwave, and even an oven and washer-dryer. The area around the property was a little busy, but there are residential neighborhoods nearby for walking. Sonder hospitality staff provided ear plugs in case needed at night. Close to the Metro and easy to navigate to nearby bus routes. I had a great stay!

There was a used condom under the bed, the sheets weren't cleaned, and nothing was cleaned. Dirty dishes, the AC was broken and wifi was not reliable. Staff are outsourced to the Philippines so customer service can't do anything, nor do they care. This is more expensive than a hotel, but dirtier than a hostel. Not too mention their listings lie, and they scam customers.

Everything worked out great… the only thing is the wifi did not connect. Also there was a tiny hole in the ceiling above the shower. Looked like a leak in the ceiling perhaps. Should be patched up. Comfy bed!

We had a problem that resulted in an unpleasant first day and sleepless first night and annoying second day. It didn’t get resolved until most of our stay was over even though we were assured someone who help.

This Sonder facility is in a great location. Apartment was comfortable and spacious. Dishwasher leaked all over the floor, there is no sponge or brush to use for dishes. Place could use a paint job. But overall, we were quite satisfied.

The accommodation was reminiscent of a similar hotel in Hong Kong. Small, compact, but outfitted with everything required for a stay. All that was needed to enjoy it was available close by in the immediate vicinity.

I was not happy with my experience of room type received. I booked a 1-bedroom w/ king bed through Expedia. When I arrived (no on-site front desk), we were put into a studio with double bed. When I called the phone number for Sonder, I was told there that's what Expedia has reserved and they had no other rooms. We stayed in the room. When I contacted Expedia about the rate difference, they claimed the the hotel "upgraded" us. We were not moved or offered anything different. When I now search on the Sonder website, I can see that sometimes the 1-bedroom rate is higher and sometimes the studio rate is higher. It feels like a scam to me. I'm unhappy with the experience and won't book again.

Ultimate home away from home.
Spacious, Very clean, modern. Beautiful view of skyline of montreal. Full kitchen, plenty of TV channels. Personal Laundry + dryer. Better than my own apartment in many ways.

It was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. The kitchen was also nice but may I suggest a pitcher to put lemonade or to put water into the fridge. The ac wasn't working when we got there but was fixed right away

Beautiful experience! I loved absolutely everything about it. The property was fully furnished with all sort of amenities, even more than I had expected, pristine spacious and really comfortable. We loved staying here! It’s a super nice apartment with a full kitchen. It is right in the heart of the Mount Royal neighborhood and super close to the metro. Will absolutely stay again!

Nicely decorated, comfortable, large queen bedroom with full kitchen, washer and dryer, BUT it smelled like drain pipes :(.. the kind of smell that you get used to after a few minutes, but it still hits you when you first enter the room. There’s no reception, so when I needed a cork screw, I had to go buy one the next day. I am still uneasy that they are asking for face recognition capture to give you the door access codes. Having said all that, I’d prob stay here again. It was a great location, close to metro and lots of dining and nightlife.

ALL of the amenities you could hope for were there, all of the cookware to make yourself meals, an iron and an ironing board, a coffee machine, a kettle, a washing machine and dryer! That was the best part of this property. Sonder is really in-tune to what guests want/need during their stay.

This place has the worst check-in process I have ever experienced. They've tried to automate it using face-scanning in a web browser and text messages. Regardless of how unnecessary and annoying that is by itself, it simply doesn't work. The last thing you want is to be unsure if you can even get into your hotel the night before a trip. It took 20 mins of failing to check-in using a browser and then another 40 minutes on the phone with customer support for me to simply check-in. Similar places I've stayed have literally just emailed me a door code and called it a day. The room itself was minimal and fine, but I won't stay here again. Not out of punishment for my bad experience, but because there's literally no guarantee I'd be able to get into my room without someone in customer service hacking my account to get me in.
