“Everything I love about the Westin . . . in the midst of historic Old Montreal”

The Westin Montreal is a beautiful hotel right on the edge of Old Montreal, yet an easy walk to the shopping district of St. Catharines Street. The hotel is decorated with class and style, and the rooms are immaculate, well appointed, and extremely comfortable. The hotel staff, particularly the concierge, went above and beyond in helping us to find restaurants that could cater to very specific dietary needs, tickets to events, and directions to everything that we wanted to see.

“superb!!!!”

We stayed two nights...great hotel, kids loved the glass-bottom pool, excellent restaurants nearby... I would stay there again when in Montreal.

“Great stay - but no pool”

The rooms were comfortable, the concierge was extremely helpful, and the attached restaurant/bar was great. The only downfall was that the pool was closed due to a leak. It was a little disappointing because the pool with the glass bottom sounded kind of cool. Regardless, I really enjoyed my visit at the Westin and would strongly recommend the hotel.

“Convenience and luxury”

Le Westin Montreal is a great hotel that is steps from the historic area of Vieux-Montreal and across the street from the underground shopping area. The hotel has great rooms that are quiet and comfortable, with massive bathrooms and exquisite king-size beds. The staff is very courteous and helpful - except for the one manager who was snappish when he couldn't find my expedia reservation form. The breakfast is great: real eggs, fresh fruit, cereals, french toast, fruit juices and coffee.

“A great hotel with a great location”

When I found a deal for the Westin Montreal, I decided to forgo my usual hotels that I stay for something new. I was extremely pleased with everything about this hotel, from the quick and friendly check-in, to the location (across the street from the Palais de Congrès so easy access to the Metro via Place d'Armes station), to the size of the room. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

“A little pricey, but worth it”

Four of us spent a night at the Westin hotel in Montreal for a "girls weekend." It was a little pricey, but worth it. We were able to save some money by sharing a room with 2 queen beds. The hotel location was excellent. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance from the hotel. There was a bixi bike station conveniently located just up the street a little from the hotel so we went biking through town as well.

“Westin exceded expectations”

What a great entrance as it was a huge summer storm upon our arrival and with the drive in covered entrance it was perfect. Everyone was very helpful with parking our car and bags. We were on the top floor with views of the port....the only trouble was again the weather...finally cleared up and we were able to see old Montreal and the port. The beds are super comfortable and didn't want to leave.. The Gazette restaurant was very nice and we enjoyed a cocktail before leaving for the port. We watched as the rain continued from the full walls of windows. The hotel is close to everything. We walked home in the rain after our dinner cruise at the old port in no time.

“Location,Location,Location!!!!”

Enjoyed the Westin! -It had wonderful staff, friendly and courteous and the location was great! Old Montreal and all its attractions/shops/ art galleries & restaurants -just perfect for strolling the cobblestone streets and enjoying the french way of life! The room was spacious/clean and tastefully decorated and bed was comfortable-[would have liked better pillows though !] There was no mini bar in our 'King" Traditional room so would have preferred to have this as well- If you like to have cold beverages on hand -make sure you ask for a bar ! We will definitely stay at this hotel in the future as the overall experience was a positive one !
