Interesting historic hotel
This is an older, historic hotel in a great location in Old Montreal…within walking distance of the Old Port. The room was very small, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. The staff was respectful. Lots of stairs to get to the room. No TV. This hotel could be absolutely beautiful, unique and popular if much needed renovations were made. It’s not for travelers who want an elegant luxury stay, but it’s okay for a night or two if you need a place to sleep and shower that is close to activities in Old Montreal.

First of all, we had to call someone to gain entrance to hotel. Parking was off site and two blocks away, no where to park while waiting to register. Only one key per room. Tv did not work, no air conditioning. Room was only big enough for a bed. No elevator, had to walk 8 flights of stairs. Would never stay here again.

Terrible service and experience.
The hotel was not clean smells , does not give you that fresh atmosphere. No ac when asked about I was giving a fan. The room was not clean the bed really bad quality walls beside the pillows had dust. The lobby is dark smells like smoke for a smoke free hotel. I did not stay and asked for my money back till now did not get. Really bad experience. Never again.

Location was excellent and value for price was great! Not all services identified on website were current. Great coffee shop next door and steps to Vieux-Port of Old Montreal. Rooms are small, but we weren’t planning to lounge in our rooms so suited us perfectly.

Simply the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The room and the bathroom were in poor condition, had no toilet paper, no mineral water, no professional at the hotel during my stay. The mattress, blankets and pillows were so used that I couldn't sleep.

There was hair on the sink and some stains on the bedsheets, we also had to go climb the stairs on the second floor with heavy luggage we know it's hard to find a hotel for this price but even for a budget we generally expect at least a clean bed and bathroom to stay the night before getting a flight.

The decor was different. Did not like the fact that the breakfast was not included with the stay. The advertisement stated complimentary breakfast. The staff stated on their computer it was not. Got the impression that they were not too impressed with the fact that the booking was through Expedia instead of directly with the hotel. Plus would have like the option to pay in cash at the hotel.

The service was so friendly! Location was awesome. Unfortunately the room was covered in dust, the TV didn’t work properly, and the beds were very uncomfortable.

Never stay here. Worst hotel night in my life
Awful. I can’t believe this place is on your site. This was an example of total fraud. Tiny bed. No ac or tv. The wine at the bar was rancid and had been opened since the French Revolution Mean angry front desk person. They made us feel very uncomfortable Other than that it was fantastic. I tried to get a full refund from hotels.com. But they wouldn’t offer a thing.
