“Splendid and Serene”
From the moment we received our welcome drinks we knew our stay would be great. Everything about this hotel is immaculate. The grounds are very well kept, clean and nurtured. The rooms are cleaned everyday and do have a hint of a mildew smell but that's normal in a humid island climate. Our air sensor on our sliding door broke which caused our air conditioner to stop working but after a quick call to the front desk it was fixed and working splendidly in no time. The food at the buffet was amazing and we enjoyed the variety of the meals. Drinks from the bar were tropical and delicious. The beach was beautiful and we were able to find a lounge chair whenever we needed one. No problem! The best thing about the hotel was the staff who were always smiling, helpful and available. Make sure to tip them, they deserve it! Tips: If you want to eat at a restuarant and don't have a reservation tip the greeter and you'll be in in no time. When checking in ask to see a few different rooms, we did and were able to choose the one with a better view. The dock by the beach is a great place to see the stars at night. Don't book excursions through the hotel, use the excursion planners located just through the door by the main bar and you'll save lots of cash.
“A great experience with a few complaints...”
Overall, this was a fabulous experience. Hotel staff was friendly, gracious and attentive; hotel was immaculate; food was superb; beach was clean and calm; entertainment was above average; and drinks were strong. Awesome! However, WiFi is not free at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach resort. It is $2 per 1/2 hour. A hotel of this caliber should include WiFi free and with no login hassle. I'm on vacation - I want WiFi access to be simple and included in my "all-inclusive" experience. We also 2 general complaints about the Jamaican Tours experience - 1) It was extremely difficult to identify the Jamaican Tours desk or employees inside the Montego Bay airport concourse, as the airport was extremely chaotic and we were overwhelmed by numerous independent vendors trying to maneuver us to whatever scams they were running. Expedia did not tell us the JT people wear yellow shirts and gray jumpsuits, which would have significantly simplified connecting with them in the concourse. 2) Once we located a Jamaican Tours baggage handler in gray jumpsuit, he insisted on taking our wheeled baggage from us, wheeled it approximately 40 feet from curb to bus, then demanded that we pay him a tip. Who needs this kind of treatment at the end of an exhaustingly long day of travel, security checks, customs and immigration scrutiny and tiny airline seats? This left a bad taste in our mouths and we will think twice about any tour involving Jamaican Tours.
“A great stay for even a solo traveler”
The hotel was absoloutely great! I went solo and had such a wonderful time. The resort and the rooms were clean, the entertainment was great, and the drinks were well made! Definitely stay here!
“It was a wonderful facility to spend a vacation.”
Absolutely magnificant... the beach was beautiful.... most pleasant staff...Sponsored activities were well managed. The food was sensational...always a huge selection and an abundance of all selections.
“Great Resort”
We visited the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort the week of 3/11/12 and had a terrific time. The food was great and the resort was a great size and perfect for a young family. We intend to go back next year. The service is the best we've seen of the resorts we've been to.
“Right at home.”
The most wonderful staff I have ever experienced. Every single person went out of his/her way to make my wife and I feel at home. The food was INCREDIBLE! The facility is sparklingly clean and beautiful. Our vacation was our first all-inclusive and while initially I thought it expensive, I now believe it was worth every penny. We can't wait to get back.
“Great Hotel”
The hotel was very clean and well kept. The staff was always very courteous and helpful. The bartenders were very good at keeping up with the constant flow of customers. The entertainment crew was always trying to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves.
“Iberostar Rose Hall - Montego Bay”
Overall, this is a great resort. The staff is very friendly, the food is good. The grounds are immaculate. The only issue we had was that the A\C in the room did not feel as cold as I personally like it. However, once we were there for a day or two, we adjusted. They had beach parties, volleyball tournaments, water aerobics in the pool each day. It was a great time to just relax. All our needs were met. We will be going back.

While staying at Iberostar absolutely every single worker was there to help my stay be the best ever! Anything and everything I needed - they were there to help. The resort is gorgeous and so family oriented. The beach, pool and all amenities were simply fabulous! I can't wait to return with my entire family!
