"Amazing overall in every aspect! The location was great, close to shops and restaurants but at the same time peaceful and quiet. The views to the sea and the castle were unhindered and magnificent! The owners welcomed us in the property and helped us with our luggage. There were plentiful welcoming fruits and sweets and a bottle of local wine!!! The property was spotlessly clean with all possible amenities provided. Everything was brand new but at the same time lots of old features were...

"Super cool apartment in the old wall city. NOTE: There is no reception and you need to contact Casa Palma for arrival to arrange meeting for keys and payment. It's like finding a apartment in an ancient maze, but amazing once you find it. We didn't know about contacting the host, we were horrified that it was just closed for the season, but once we called, it was very worth the extra trouble, best stay in Greece."

"If you are coming to Monemvasia you should really stay within the castle walls to get the full experience. The hotel is towards the east end of the castle but a very easy walk (5 mins) through the lower town. Like all hotels inside the castle, it is really a cluster of separate houses made into hotel rooms and the room was spacious, beds comfortable with great sea views and nice antique furniture. Most of all as it's at the end of town it's very quiet. I would definitely recommend it"

We had finished a 2-week trip with friends in Turkey and Greece, and this was our special "couple time" to celebrate a big anniversary - but we had gotten sick the week before. Still, Jimmy and the staff at the hotel did a WONDERFUL job providing and caring for us, and it was such a special time. I couldn't recommend a hotel higher! "We loved everything about it. We had a room with a balcony overlooking Monemvasia and the ocean. Stunning. Parking is along the road that connects Monemvasia to the mainland. This is where EVERYONE parks. The reception is right inside the castle walls but it could be a bit of a walk from there on cobblestones depending where your room is. Breakfast is fantastic and everyone is so nice and helpful. "
