I would’ve liked to have met the owner & maybe get a back story of the hotel. Parking was a little tight but we have a very large truck. Our visit was cut short due to an unexpected emergency at home, which was about 7-8 hrs away. However overall, it was great & one of the best vacations I’ve had. Thank you"

"Stayed here several times. Great location, private, comfortable and safe. Hot water takes a while due to age of home, lost hot water last day I think due to guest next door running shower at same time. Also left AC at 70, came back was at 65, must have been on a preset calendar. "

"My husband and I stayed for one night during the week and had the entire hotel to ourselves. The hotel was built in 1868 and has lots of history to read about with displays throughout the building. Our room, the bridal suite, was so cute and cozy. It was very convenient for us because it was across from the train station, and we used the Amtrak train to travel to Hermann. If you're a light sleeper, you might not like hearing the trains passing by in the middle of the night, but the hotel was...

"My friend and I stayed for 3 nights with Becky and Marvel and it was WONDERFUL! We were able to have a lot of free range in terms of being in the space and our comings and goings from the house. I appreciated all the lovely snacks when we arrived as well as the presentation of everything being so clean, warm, and cute. I will definitely be looking at their rooms again for my future trips to kc!!!"

"This property was a rehabilitated building from, apparently, the early 1900s. The best part was the authenticity of the restoration. In addition, the property was spacious and had two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed. There was an accommodating living room, a nice sitting room, a Butler’s pantry, and an adequate kitchen area. The property contained no dining nearby, but had a usable kitchen.
