Dated but clean and our room was freshly painted and maintained adequately. Good room for one maybe two nights. Area is sketchy and doesn’t appear to be all that safe in my opinion. Breakfast was very good compared to others with a similar Menü. The staff was very helpful.

There was no stopper in the sink. Could lose valuables down there easily. No sign to put on door knob for privacy. TV had a screen that hid1/3 of the picture. no carpet. noisy neighbors beside and above. but an excellent breakfast. However in the winter walking outside to get to it might be uncomfortable.

This was a very average hotel. Room was clean. Very convenient right on and off the interstate. It is closer to train tracks so we did hear trains passing by

The mattress had a giant yellow stain, the tv and ac didn’t work in the room, and the room itself had a very nasty smell that seemed to be imbedded in everything. The location of the hotel is really good being close to so many things if you travel for University events, but besides that I’d sadly stay clear

My husband and I arrived around 9:30 at night after an exceptionally grueling drive through a winter storm. The night clerk had stepped away, but left a sign so we admired the cute and cozy lobby while we waited a few minutes. I wish I had noted the clerks name (Amy?) because she was warm and friendly and went above and beyond later to help me out trying to get a drink from the vending machine. The room was clean and cute, and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was next level. They took over a little restaurant and that’s where breakfast was served. We were greeted by Zeke, who was friendly and willing to make more if needed. There were hot foods like eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, and gravy. As well as good muffins and bagels, among other things. My husband and I had drove across the country and back and were staying in budget friendly hotels and this was the best breakfast by far. The lobby also had refreshing lemon water available. A few cons, like the bathroom fan (which is the same switch as the light) making a terrible noise that I would instinctively duck and cover, the trains that would come rolling through all night and would periodically blare their horns (now I know why the front desk had earplugs), and the lack of outlets by the desk. But overall, it was a very pleasant stay and we would stay again if in the area.

We were in a building that faced a McDonald’s so we got hear people ordering in the drive through all night long plus it is right behind the railroad tracks and trains came through 2-4 times a night.

Hotel was clean. Rooms in good shape. Room next door must have allowed smoking because we could smell it in the hallway. Breakfast was poor quality. I couldn’t eat eggs and am not picky about them. Did not replenish muffins at 7:45, when breakfast goes until 10 or 11. Front desk staff had not gotten food ready in time for breakfast to be served as expected. No cereal, milk or yogurt. Hotel price was cheap, but don’t expect more than toast, juice and coffee.

However, it is unfortunate that our breakfast service left much to be desired overall. We are currently in the process of getting a new breakfast cook trained so that we can get our better breakfast service back up in our new breakfast room. I apologize that the eggs were not up to par, and I will take that seriously when I get the breakfast set up each morning. We normally do have yogurt, cereal, and milk, so I apologize that while I'm in this transition period getting my next rockstar in breakfast hired and trained, we didn't have all of our normal breakfast items. Additionally, I wanted to let you know that, yes, the person in 212 did decide to smoke, and I evicted that person with the police and have trespassed them from the property because smoking is not allowed in any way in our hotel. I do apologize that this guest took it upon themselves to smoke in their room and negatively impact everyone's stay around them. I hate the smell of tobacco smoke, and I'm sure most other people do, too. It would be our pleasure to have you stay with us again for a seamless visit worthy of a perfect rating.

This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. No hangers anywhere, no dresser, nowhere to store, any luggage or any clothing. the toilet was filthy, pieces of the bedframe, stuck out on the side, which were real knee knocker, they deactivated the keys at 11 even if you weren’t checking out. Then, to get the keys reactivated, they did not ask for ID, they did not ask for confirmation of any kind. My son was with me who is not on the room at all and they gave him two new cards without verification of any kind. It could’ve been a stocker ex-husband. I will never stay here and nobody else stay there as well.

Good location right off the interstate and close to downtown. But with the trains a stone’s throw away, it is very noisy. The walls are quite thin also and you can hear the neighbor’s conversation. The remodel of the rooms is nice, the room itself was nice and comfortable but the hotel is pretty old. I stayed here because tour price was good and it was pet friendly. They have a little pet area outside the back door which is nice. I would entertain staying again if needed.

Pet friendly is a lie
We booked these rooms because it said they were pet friendly. We then got an email saying that they don't accept cats. We were traveling with 2 cats. Guess pet friendly doesn't really mean pet friendly.

The Days Inn and Suites Downtown - University is my favorite place to stay in Missoula. And I've tried them all! Reasonable prices, comfortable, convenient and within walking distance to both Downtown and the UM University campus. And the staff is THE BEST! Thank you for your fine service!
