“Nice Place, Friendly Staff, Great Location”

The hotel is not plush, but recently refurbished and very satisfactory. Each of the staff members encountered were very friendly and very customer focused. The location is great, one block from the hullaballoo of Collins Avenue but close enough to enjoy it, and right across the street from the ocean. Would definitely stay there again!

“The best for the price”

This hotel have a perfect location on Ocean Drive. We loved the lobby and all the gratuity include for 7.50$ a day. Very clean compare to a lot of hotel we read about in South Beach. It's not a 5 stars hotel but for the price you cannot go wrong.

Superb Hotel with friendly Staff ! The third time I've stayed in South Beach and by far the best Hotel so far - will definitely be booking it for my next stay. Unfortunately no pool - but the roof terrace is great. Wpuld have been helpful to have had Tea/Coffee facilities and a fridge in the room, but the staff supplied hot water and ice upon request. Eating out in South Beach can be expensive - primarily due the addition of the 7% local tax and the 18% gratuity that is thoughtfuly added to your bill to save you the strain of working it out yourself ...... Shopping is good on Lincoln road and the surrounding streets - although you can also pay $2 and catch the bus to the huge Aventura mall !

“Enjoyed every minute”

After reading the reviews on Expedia, I couldn't wait to see how small the rooms really were. It wasn't bad at all. It was a little smaller than the standard room at a typical major chain hotel. However, the hotel and the rooms were extremely clean. Winterhaven is in the middle of all of the action and right across from the beach. I can't wait to go next year!!!

“Awesome boutique hotel in South Beach!”

The Winterhaven is a lovely boutique hotel. I was a little leary because the price was so low and a friend, who is a South Beach guru, had never heard of it. However, we were very pleased in every aspect. The location is great, the rooms are clean and uniuque, the service was outstanding, and the small bar in the lobby served great wine. We especially like the continental breakfast in the morning. We will definately stay here again!

“Nice spot to stay”

Well run hotel. The staff are great.They make the hotel. It is an older hotel and doesn't have modern soundproofing. You will need earplugs to sleep soundly. The location is perfect for South Beach. It is a walk from the party area so it is peaceful. The carpet was needing a good shampoo and the bathroom is quite small but not out of line for the art deco hotels down the beach .It is over 70 years old as are most of the hotels in the area. I would stay there again.

“Great for our trip”

This hotel was small and cute...The location is great and for the price exactly what we needed. We weren't in the room much but the beds were amazing...The room was small but we didn't need much room...The bathroom was really neat....Our view wasn't great from the window but hey the ocean was directly across the street. The staff was very helpful. The patio was great one of the only hotels you can sit a really people watch without being bother...I would go back

“Very good experience”

Wao, this was my third time in Miami on the last 2 years, and this was by far the best experience if you are looking to have a good time. Excelent location, excelent location, excelent location!
