My Room was Dirty Stained sheets didn’t have the slide lock on the top of the door no towels and when i called they said there was no more towels horrible service

My family traveled to Merced this past weekend. We were visiting The University of Merced. We had the worst hotel stay ever!! I've stayed at other Wyndham properties before and never Have I had an experience like this. No 24/7 front desk. The front desk person had no customer service skills. Very unprofessional. The room has a very horrible stench. The lights don't work. The phone doesn't work. The television doesn't work.m Towels are paper thin. Pool is green. It is clear that there are people that live here. When trying to ask front desk to rectify these things they just shrugged it off and said sometimes they work sometimes they don't. This is not a very good representation of a Wyndham property. I'm wondering if this is one of the hotels They turned into a homeless shelter during the pandemic because it's definitely giving off that type of vibe. Avoid this place at all costs!!

My bed had stains on it and there were no towels when I checked in. I let the front desk know and they told me to go find the housekeeper to get towels…. So I asked where she was and they told me she was actively cleaning rooms and I needed to go find her…I could see if I had been staying there and need my towels replenished but I checked in to this.

This property should not be on your website! The pictures that are shown is not correct and lies! It was very dirty! Sheets, bedspread, bathroom, doors everything you can possibly think of. Upon arrival we noticed graffiti on the building and when we parked next to the pool it was green water I’m sure lots of bugs. I will never get a room from your website again, very disappointing.

When we rented the room we were told that the sound on the TV did not work, we were OK with that. HOWEVER they did not tell us there was NO cord for the hair dryer, no pot for the coffee maker, and also the phone in the was not active since we attending a family baby shower and had the room for 2 nights this caused alot of inconvenience!

I love staying here. I stayed off and on for about 3 weeks wasn't quiet just enjoyable stay staff is very accommodating and awesome all around. I'll definitely go back soon.

Sheets were stained. Tv volume didn’t work, staff wanted to wait till morning to move us into another room… we got moved and the sheets in the new room were stained as well.

The night front desk was horrible. Not only did he charge me for a second deposit to which he never returned he also charged me for an extra night after having me pull out cash to pay for both the deposit n the room. He never was available when I was tryin to check out n he was very rude. As well as housekeeping didn’t give me any clean lining when needed. It was the worst stay ever

The clerk was not professional looking I got locked out of the room. It was not available to ride away to get me into my room. There was nothing in the room that showed you how to connect to the Internet I called and asked they told me yes there was a you had what you had to do, but I could never find that, although the room said non-smoking, there had been people smoking in that room I understand not having carpeted rooms but I think a runner would’ve been appropriate. The best thing about this property was the price.

Cheep but that’s it
Very small. Lingering smokers smell. The fire alarm was in the drawer. Fuse panel door missing in lobby. No breakfast. Meager bedding: 2 small pillows, bottom sheet plus a thin blanket sandwiched between 2sheets military style.

Wouldn’t recommend! My family and I arrived to Merced at 1 am. After driving about 6 hrs we were looking forward to getting a good nights rest. Bedsheets were soiled. Asked to be moved to another room. Bedsheets were soiled there too. Not clean. No breakfast included even though it advertised it. We ended up leaving to a nicer hotel.

Fairly clean and the staff were nice enough, but poorly maintained. Smoke alarms had been removed from rooms, and it took 3 room changes to find one that didn't smell like cigarettes. Only 1 channel on the TV, no duvet/comforter, no breakfast, pool closed, and the mirror in the bathroom was falling off the wall!

It was dirty-had to ask to have room cleaned, water didn't go down in sink, phone didn't work, office not open often. workers acted like it was a problem to assist. We liked the location-definitely a low class motel.
