“Will Definitely Return Here!”

We were traveling from Las Vegas, NM and NMHU after visiting our son. We were able to stay a little longer visiting with him because of the location of Childress as we traveled home. Check in was easy. The room was huge! Great Flat Screen TV. Bed/Pillows were excellent. BEST of all, it was so quiet! So, we slept gr8! This is not a place where you will get room service, but the price is right. And, there are several local places to eat dinner and breakfast for the road.

“Economic, Clean and Comfortable!”

During a long distance journey, I needed an economic place to stay overnight. I was extremely pleased with this hotel and it exceeded all of my expectations. The room was very, very clean and nicely furnished. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel. The shower had plenty of hot water and water pressure. As a solo female traveler, I appreciated the well-lit parking lot and corridors. The young couple who own/manage this hotel were very friendly, courteous and professional. For the price, I was pleasantly surprised and would recommend it to anyone traveling through Childress. I will definitely stay here again.

“American Inn is okay”

It's an older hotel but I guess an okay place to stay. You get what you pay for that's forsure. The sink was clogged and I could not use the bath tub for my son, only the shower worked. Around the air conditioner had not been sealed well and dust/sand had blown in on top of microwave and refridgerator, so I had to wipe it off. The folks that run it seem nice enough though and it's in a convenient location.

“Not impressed”

Quiet, fairly comfortable room but light not working, had to pull out furniture to find plug for fridge and room not clean.
