The home was clean and well kept. It was the perfect size and we were once again very pleased with our stay in Massanutten. I would recommend."

It is fully equipped with everything you need in case you want to cook or is conveniently located to restaurants if you do not want to cook. We even had deer basically come look in the windows. "Peaceful. Outdoor grill needs to be replaced. Please fix door handle on upstairs bath. We didn't use the wood-burning fireplace. Strong smell of burned wood inside. Great water pressure and hot water availability. Anyway to widen the driveway access to the cabin?"

"The house was easy to enter, accommodating for our group of hiking ladies over 50, and was nice and clean. We needed all the separate rooms and bathrooms, and the laundry facilities were wonderful. Neighborhood is pretty- roads are windy, but not bad. Short drive to SNP."

"The only way we could have family (12 of us) attend our son's graduation was to rent a large house. Acorn lodge met our requirements and made our visit memorable. Enough room for everyone to sleep in a comfortable bed and being able to cook meals for everyone made it cost effective. "The stay at this home was everything we were looking for. It was very clean and the bedrooms were spread out and the kids had their own space. We enjoyed several mornings sitting outside, dinners around the table, and a family movie night. One thing to note, the floors were very thin to the point where we could hear cell phones very clearly from the rooms above. Not a huge deal but important to know if you have light sleepers or heavy walkers. Would visit this lovely property again."
