Our award winning restaurant, Papagayo, offers some of the finest dining in Mazatlan. Generations of local patrons also consider the Papagayo's relaxed atmosphere and outstanding cuisine to be one of Mazatlans best kept dining secrets.
The largest of our two swimming pools is centrally located just a few yards away from the beach and The Papagayo Restaurant. For added excitement, we created a dramatic waterfall for swimmers to frolic under. Along side the main pool are soothing, heated whirlpools. The views from both swimming pools are breathtaking. For the enjoyment of the entire family we have varied daytime and evening activities for all ages.
The beach at The Inn is nothing short of spectacular. Its fine-grained sand is easy on your bare feet. There are no hidden rocks to stub your toes. When wet, the sand packs firmly so that walking or jogging is easy. At low tide the wide expanse of beach is irresistible for beach volleyball, running or just strolling and enjoying the beautiful view.

“Hidden Treasue!”
What a wonderful surprise the Inn at Mazatlan is. For the price, you can enjoy beautiful ocean front views, bountiful food and drink and a very friendly and service oriented staff. I will surely stay here again...and again. Adios
“Relaxed at the Inn”
Although we had hoped for warmer weather...the hotel made up for it by having heated pools. We spent 7 days in the pools, which was wonderful. We didn't want to home as the temps in MN were 80 degrees different. The service at the hotel was out of this world. They welcomed us home upon arrival and took care of our every expectation while we were there. My husband & dad went fishing off the beach and caught a Red Snapper. The hotel cooked it up for dinner (it feed 8 of us). IT WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD! We can't wait to return next year!
“Beautiful Sunsets”
This was my second stay at the Inn at Mazatlan. All of the staff and workers have worked at the Inn for dozens of years, and are extremely freindly and professional. They all go out of their way to make you feel like part of their family. The Inn is located within walking distance of the best shops and restaurants, and as a single woman, I felt very safe walking around and taking the local bus/cabs by myself. I was very disappointed by the new management company that runs the Inn. The company is based in Utah and couldn't care less about the guests that stay at the Inn...they only care about making money! They now charge for so many things that were once included, (coffee in the rooms, free wifi, to name a few). In addition, when you call their 800 number, the people who answer the phone are not at all friendly or accommodating.
“Excellent Hotel and Staff”
We were very pleased with the Inn at Mazatlan. The hotel staff was excellent and the accomodations outstanding. We loved the pool and the beach and found all the people to be extremely nice. If we went back to Mazatlan there is no doubt in my mind where I would stay. The hotel restaurant was outstanding.
“Highly recommend”
What a lovely surprise when we arrived at Inn at Mazatlan. The hotel was more than I expected and the staff were extremely accomodating, friendly and good humoured. The exercise room was a great way of working off the guilt of a few too many shrimps and margaritas.
“No disappointments at this hotel!!”
Excellent staff at the Inn at Mazatlan. Restaurant was excellent with every meal better than the next. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. We caught fish from ocean and the chef made them for us . . . another great meal. Loved the entertainment. Pool was great. Nothing bad to say except started my week out with a hard pillow but the maid remedied that by bringing me a softer pillow.
“EXRTREEMLY WELL MAINTAINED & QUIET HOTEL”
THE HOTEL AND THE ROOMS WERE VERY NICE AND WELL TAKEN CARE OF. THE STAFF WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING. SERVICE IN THE BAR & OUTSIDE POOL AREA WAS A BIT SLOW AND LACKING. I THINK THAT THIS COULD HAVE BEEN CORRECTED BY A FEW MORE PEOPLE ON DUTY AT ANY GIVEN TIME. OVERALL WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH OUR EXPERIANCE & WILL MOST LIKELY RETURN NEXT YEAR!
“Good Value for the amount spent. English spoken also.”
Very nice hotel and accomidations
“Imprssive resort, will definitely visit again”
quality accommodations and service, very friendly staff. great pool area and plenty of access to ocean front beach.
“Would love to come back to this place.”
Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the wide open beach. Restaurant in the hotel and the service was top notch and can't complain at all.
