“Mazatlan 2011..excellent”
GREAT place to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i did the water exercise daily and enjoyed it glad the pool was heated. Also did the bingo. My husband really liked it that he did not have to get out of his lounge chair to get beer, it was always brought to him by the very friendly waiters. The staff for activities was freindly and the hotel staff was very helpful.
“Best money i spent on vaction”
good food ,good times.especially at el patio restaurant . The waiter Octavio and manager Joel were very attetentive to all our needs. will be going back soon . very clean rooms and super friendly staff. people in the mercado were very nice. I recommend you go sight seeing on your own and avoid all these tours. take in some of the culture of mazatlan and get your self a fruit drink from the mercado. They are very good and referesing.
“can't wait to go back”
our second time at el cid granada country club.we enjoyed our pool and our guiet private breakfast. staff at pool bar were the best.when it was windy for a couple of days we stayed at our pool area and enjoyed being out of the wind.
“Great as always”
Our fifth year back and we continue to have the same great service with familiar faces. El Cid is our favorite resort. It's central location, trustworthy employees, cleanliness of rooms and hotel areas, scenic views, security, and overall friendliness and willingness to accomodate all our needs and wishes reinforce the desire to revisit year after year. We are already anxious for next and plan to bring the kids!
“Excellent family vacation”
My family and I really want to come back, we´re planing traveling by november again. Tha people was very kind, the beach and the sunset are awesome. the service, the food, the pool, the garder, everything great. We love this place
“An Oasis”
The first thing that got my attention was that the rooms are enormous! I'd made an error when I requested the room, and didn't have a kitchenette, but this was quickly taken care of. I mostly wanted it for tea in the morning, but there was no microwave and I boiled water in a largish pot, not the optimum but it worked. The best part was the pool - the temperature could not have been more perfect, the water was clean, it was quiet, and there was an adjacent bar/restaurant. There were enough American TV channels. I hated to leave.
“Can't wait to see you next year!”
We love El Cid Granada! It's quiet, comfortable, and affordable. We walk around the golf course in the morning and lay poolside in the afternoon at one of their 3 pools. El Cid Granada in centrally located allowing us to be able to walk to evening activites such as restaurants, night clubs, and shopping. The service is wonderful. We ordered room service one evening and it was one of our favorite meals. Speedy service.
“EL CID MAZATLAN ROCKS!!!!”
The entire time everyone was excellent. Especially Enrique?? sorry if the spelling is off, but he was great with all of us and the kids loved him. The meals were above average, & always fresh. The cleaning staff are excellent the hotels were in the process of painting and there was renovation on going. We have and would recommend the El Cid resorts, and would stay with them again!! Also there is an excellent coffee shop with in the complex, Rico's!!! very good coffee!!!! The coffee at the resort was excellent. The only drawback was that we went to the marina, as we were told we had access to all of the El Cid resorts while we were there. we could go to the marina, but could not eat or drink there as part of our all-inclusive. Also bottled water was about a buck in your room or around the resort at the bars. The water in Mazatlan is purified so no big deal as we just drank tap, but it would have been nice not to have to carry cash to get bottled.
“EXCELLENT FAMILY VACATION, MAZATLAN BEST HOTEL”
I can´t wait to go back there, Everything was excellent, I really recomended this hotel, The people very helpful and kind. The best beach in the world, the sunset very beautiful. Thanks
“El Cid - Best Vacation Ever- We loved it !”
The shows at the Buffet restaurant were great from a Las Vegas show to a Mexican show to Aladdin in Spanish. We made sure to attend them every night as they had a different theme nightly. Fernando who was also the Activities director, along with the other singers and entertainers really put on a good show. There was also Bingo every afternoon poolside and other activities. The beach was lovely too with lots of chairs and umbrellas. My husband also used the modern well equipped gym to work out. With the all inclusive wristband, everything was included so it ended up being a very inexpensive vacation especially with the seat sale from Westjet. The weather was 28 degrees and sunny so what more could you ask for. We also took the green tourist bus into town (Sabalo Centro) for 9 pesos and also visited the Mega Store in town. You really get to see what old Mazatlan looks like when you take the bus. I would highly recommend the El Cid Granada as well as the El Cid Moro or El Cid Castilla. We plan to go again next December but this time for 2 weeks.
