The room is quiet when the window is closed, or you can leave it open and accept the occasional passenger jet noise. Walkable to airport, but they also have a responsive, on-demand van that can drive to the airport in 2-3 minutes. Limited dining menu and operating hours (including room service). "I loved staying at the Royal Cottage. The staff are warm and friendly, the rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast is good and the best part is it’s so close to the town and harbour. Really lovely. I wish I didn’t have to leave. "

"If not for the way I was welcomed at my arrival by an incompetent lady who did not take the time to take names on arrival and made 20 people wait for more then 40 minutes room assignment. fortunrtly her shift finished and was replaced by a lovely young lady who took the time to help us. True checkin is at 3 pm but when you get there at 2:45 and you still have to wait until 3:30 pm to get a room....it is a problem"

"Hôtel is continently located on this beautiful seaside town. Staff were lovely. Reception when we arrived took car of booking our dinner in a lovely restaurant that she recommended. The facility is older, rooms very small and dated, however, it was clean, just needs some upgrading. Air conditioning in France is not what we consider cooling in Europe… or at least not that I have found. But don’t let that deter you. It worked fine for what we wanted because we loved being out on the town!"

"Old style property up on Bompard area , a 25 minute walk to the city - local ambience very pleasant and the espressos excellent - undergoing renovation, so a bit haphazard, but staff unfailingly polite and would be a great place in spring or autumn for a long weekend ! "

"The place was nice. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable. We had an issue without shower drain being clogged. They were helpful and a maintenance worker came quickly but was unable to resolve it. No efforts were made to provide compensation for the inconvenience."
