nice place to be
It is a very nice place, great locations to the Cascade del saturnia hot springs, nice people at the desk, really pastoralist place, no elevator to the first floor (only 2 floors) so needed to carry the luggage, room was ok but the shower was too small. Breakfast was ok but it took time to bring Coffey or any other. I recommend booking the wine tastes at least right after booking - we have missed it because it was full. Recommend for 1-2 nights

First I want to talk about service, we thought check-in was until 11p as stated on Expedia. But that information was wrong, regardless the hotel staff Gemma reached out to us before closing asking our arrival time. Because we were arriving after check in she made all the arrangements for us to be able to get into the property. This kind of service is priceless and we are very grateful for it. The property itself is beautiful, our room was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable and morning breakfast was good. The property grounds are beautiful. 10 minute drive to Saturnian hot springs.

This property is absolutely incredible. The staff is extremely hospitable, friendly, and speaks English. There is a restaurant and winery on the property which is incredible. It is also very close the saturnia hot springs, if you are looking to go there. I will absolutely be booking another stay here next time we are in Tuscany.

Good evening, I'm so sad reading your review also because we did everything to give you a good stay, but how I was imagine, you are not a sincere person, indeed a liar to the detriment not only of me but also of the readers of the review. I want to remind you that this negative review derives from the fact that we did not allow you to stay for free in a room reserved for 2 people in 3 people Perhaps it is good for the readers to know that you booked a room for 2 people through the portal and then arrived with an extra 9-year-old child (difficult to forget that you are the father of a child when you book) We have proposed 3 solutions: stay in the room with the child, sleep in your bed with a supplement of only 20 euros (linen, breakfast, etc.), or go to a larger room with an extra bed or to another even larger room with 2 bedrooms. You choiced the first option so if the room was not adapt it was because you booked a room for 2 people and you want to use in 3. How mention in the Expedia schedule the wifi it is not available in the rooms so how you can pretend it? When you booked the room, did you book the restaurant? no, so it would be also possible we can be full booked or close for day off, also in this case how can pretend it? next time be more smart and book what you really need best regards Fabrizio

This place was amazing. I wish we had stayed longer. The rooms were nice, the grounds were the best. Wineries all around and Cascate di Molino is close. Best service and nicest people. Also the best breakfast of the trip.

Beautiful location and grounds
Beautiful location and grounds. We are thinking of returning here for our wedding in the season. Unfortunately we stayed in November (out of season) so we weren’t able to try the restaurant or use the pool but we will definitely be returning. Bed was comfortable, room had a set climate control between 22.5-27 degrees, breakfast was traditional Toscana and coffee was nice. Some minor issues but they were addressed immediately.

Accommodations, food and wine out of this world!
This was just an absolutely beautiful location with the friendliest of staff. The attention to detail of everything involving our stay was extraordinary. Our group of six was treated to a private dinner outside under the stars rather than inside with all the other guests. The wait staff was attentive and told us about each dish and a little about the chef (or Momma) who prepared it for us. Rooms were clean and updated to include the best showers that we have had in Italy so far. I would recommend this place to all of my friends and anyone who is visiting Italy. I give it 5 stars and would love to come back to visit in the future.

Hotel is basically closed in November.....
We went to this hotel to experience the natural Hot Springs near by. When we arrived they got us set up in our room and offered us wine (which we later found out we had to pay for). We asked about the restaurant on site and they said no it was closed, we asked about a taxi to the Hot Springs and they called but said nothing was available until after 4:00 pm. It was only 1 pm and would be getting dark right after 4. We said we would walk, even though it was 8 km away. They said they could have the driver pick us up at 4:30, but to eat while we were there because they didn’t have food (the snack bar at the Hots Springs was closed). They kept saying they were on holiday in November after their busy summer season. I don’t know why they are letting guests book while they are on holiday. Seems like it could have been a great experience if they were actual working and open!

Dear Mrs. Flynn, I'm sorry you and your friends had a not very positive experience in Villa Acquaviva. I'm sorry you think that we would have to stay close in this time, but Maremma doesn't offer just Hotsprings attraction so for that reason we don't really close in November and we can answer to other places's management like the bar at hotsprings. About the wine, we offer a bottle of white wine as welcome gift that you found on the table in your room, but you paid other 2 bottles (1 white and 1 red) that you order for you dinner (you had in my veranda), so it is not true you paid something we offer to you. So you gave us a bad valutation for something it isn't our fault

Great stay!
Excellent service! Room was quiet, comfortable and clean but a little small. A/C wasn’t switched on yet as we were in between season so the first few nights were warm (much better on our last night when it was turned on). Good breakfast. Amazing grounds and nice pool area. Quiet and relaxing stay for a few nights with some local sightseeing within a short drive.

The repeat visit to Acquaviva for us did not disappoint – as ever, wonderful gardens, superb food (breakfast and dinners) and accommodations. We were treated to a truly excellent vertical tasting of estate wines going from 2002 to 2016.

A repeat stay for us -- Acquaviva has a very tranquil, serene feel to it. A tour of the winery was totally excellent and both breakfast and the dinner at the restaurant are superb. Saturnia hot springs cascades are a 10-minute drive.

Gorgeous place!
This place is absolutely beautiful! We stayed here for 2 nights and loved everything about this place well maintained great staff friendly and helpful we visited Saturnia hot springs just a 5 min drive down the hill would love to return some day! Oh and did I mention great wine and olive oil! The restaurant on site is delicious!

A heavenly place to stay
I arrived in Tuscany after a 20+ hour travel day and was instantly soothed when I stepped onto the grounds of Villa Acquaviva. It’s one of the most peaceful and beautiful places i’ve ever seen. The grounds are lovely, surrounded by grape vines and bountiful fruit trees. The staff were friendly and always went above and beyond. The villa is beautiful and very clean. The pool area is lovely and it’s a great pool to swim in or relax with a good book. The food here is amazing and you can tell that all the ingredients arepf the highest quality. The free breakfast is amazing. I also enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the restaurant. The neighboring towns are very charming to wander around in. If I had to give one criticism it would be that my bed was extremely firm, but everything else was so perfect I didn’t mind. Also the dog and kittens on the property were friendly and adorable! I stayed two nights here with my mom, and can’t wait to come back with my wife!

We loved our short stay. The room had character, and was spotless. The property is beautiful! There is also local honey, wine and olive oil that they produce, it is excellent! The breakfast had a great assortment, fresh fruit and homemade apricot juice. We loved it!
