Good place to stay when waiting for a flight next day

“Great option close to the airport”

I stayed at this hotel in July 2007 for one night. I had a connecting flight the following morning, and was looking for an inexpensive solution. This hotel has a frequent shuttle service which is free of charge and runs on time. I suggest, you email the hotel to obtain the shuttle bus schedule beforehand. The hotel is only about 10 min ride from the airport. The room itself was very clean and tidy. (carpet was a bit old, but other than that, the room was in an excellent shape)The staff was very friendly and helpful, and if you arrive after hours and are hungry, ask at the front desk and you will have a choice of a freshly made sandwich and drinks. I would strongly recommend this hotel. Enjoy!

I found the staff in the hotel very friendly and welcoming They gave us information when asked and the bar staff very obliging .The room was spacious clean and comfortable . the hotel has a nice variety of shops ,pubs and restauraunts within walking distance if you dont want to eat in the hotel all the time .there is also a good bus service that runs from outside the hotel into the centre on manchester and many other places I would recommend this hotel to my friends as the price was really good for what you get

Very close to Manchester airport. Clean comfortable rooms. Not too expensive. Efficient bus service to the airport. Easy to find.

“Good value for short stay”

We stayed at this hotel one night before departing at Manchester Airport. The hotel is 1960's era so a little worn with no bellman but the bed was comfortable, room spacious and clean. It was located near the airport with FREE shuttle service to and from and in a nice neighborhood and you could walk to a village. Good for the money!
