Great Hotel to visit Madrid
We stayed here 3 days in September 2023. Hotel was great and location was good very near to metro station for easy access to all Madrid has to offer. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful ! Breakfast was very good as well !

A very small, dark room with only a window to an internal space. No tea or coffee making facilities. Tiny TV with limited channels. For a weekend rate of 400 Euros per night it is very expensive for what you get.

Reception staff were helpful and friendly. If you stay at this hotel, be aware that one portion of the hotel, there are 15 marble steps that you have to haul your luggage up to get to the elevator on Floor zero. We were not aware of this and no offer of a bell hop. The other part of the hotel has elevators at reception level, so hope you can get a room on that side! Also no elevator down to the breakfast buffet so we saw people carrying strollers down and up. The room was lovely and clean. The hotel was very close to the Metro, a lovely plaza with many restaurants and shopping. The buffet had a wide variety of breakfast and lunch food. Coffee machine coffee was ok, not great. Lobby is nicely decorated, great bathroom and comfortable seating. We felt it was worth the price.

230 euros a night hotel which seems like 35 euros
Never go again to this hotel. Expensive, unfriendly staff. Pay a little bit more go to a proper hotel.... When you are paying not so much (230euros) in an expensive city in a very old hotel you minimum expect good service. Service here is NOT good

The hotel was everything we expected: efficient and pleasant staff, clean and modern facilities and all the main things we needed working as we wanted. Good location very close to a Metro station but nevertheless quiet. Pleasant room with comfortable beds. Excellent walk-in shower. Minor gripes: No facial tissues or coffee-making facilities are provided and the hairdryer was difficult to operate. Breakfast (the only meal we had at the hotel) was fine for the price.

The staff members were very rude and not helpful except for one young man. There was a lady there who even refused to call a taxi for us. In addition, this is the very first hotel that we have stayed at where there was no tissue available. Will never go back to this hotel.

This location was a short walk to the center of Madrid and a cross from the metro. Very convenient a cross there's a market store and restaurant where we would enjoy our morning breakfast. I highly recommend this location to anyone visiting Madrid and the hotel is amazing. I would rent there again. Trip dated from 4/30 to 5/5/2023.

The room is very clean. The cleaning staff did a good job every day. The breakfast is adequate. The staff is nice. However, I selected this hotel because the listing shows it has laundry facility ( different from laundry service), and hence is family friendly. They do NOT have a laundry facility for guests to use. They only have laundry service which costs 3-7 euros for each piece of garment. The listing is not accurate and is misleading.
