The Kowloon Hotel is an excellent hotel to stay in. The staff are professional. I left something in the room and immediately received notice that I had left a personal item. The follow-up and assistance received from the Guest Service Managers and staff speak highly of the hotel.

“Best value for your money”

Do not be fooled by the exterior, when we first drove up I wasn´t too sure. The lobby was no frills, but the service from the reception, to the bell hops, to room service, and restaurants were excellent. The rooms were clean, well furnished and spacious. The location was great. I would recommend this hotel to those looking for great value and a short stay.

“Macau for less”

Hotel Sintra was centrally located. Directly across the street from the Grand Lisboa. 15 minute walk to St. Paul's Ruin. We got to the hotel early and the bellboys kept our luggage until we returned. Rooms are a little old but comfortable. fraction of the price for the 'grand' hotels

“Great location”

Great location as it's near the portuguese part of Macau as well as the shuttle bus to the City of Dreams (Venetian is across the road). We were able to access bus 32 closeby as well which went to the Macau tower, lighthouse & fishermans wharf. Bit disappointed with the lack of tourist information though as well as bus info to get to local attractions. They require a $500 HKD deposit when checking in. We found the shuttle bus from the ferry at the end of the line of shuttles, it shares with one that goes to the Grand Lisboa as well.

I took a leisure trip to Macau while on vacation in Hong Kong. Overall, Hotel Sintra exceeded my expectations. Its a no-frills hotel, but the amenities were satisfactory. The hotel could use some updates, but it was very clean and the beds were full-sized as opposed to your typical twin size beds in Asia and Europe. Hotel Sintra is within walking distance of all the major casinos and the shuttle service to the airport is free and convenient. We did have to wait about 30 mins for the airport shuttle on arrival to Macau.

Very nice hotel. Shrt walk to Grand Lisboa and Wynn. Staff spoke english and were very helpful. Yum cha in restaurant was very nice. Complimentary bottled water was a nice touch. Would stay here again for sure

Hôtel très bien plaçé entre la vieille ville et les casinos. Navette gratuite pour aller au ferry et sur l'île de Taipa (casinos Venitian et City of Dreams). Petit déjeuner buffet correct.

“A good choice within budget”

This is a 3 start hotel that in many other places could be rated as 4 start. Lobby and common areas are definitively not so great, but they try hard to make it pleasant, tidy and clean. The rooms are conformable and to some extend spacious. Not so great, but do not forget that this is a 3 start hotel. We stayed there four nights and we had two connecting rooms: one was an "upgraded" and the other one was deluxe. The only difference was on the robes in the "upgraded" one and slightly larger but they did not have any other two connecting rooms, so good point for the management that try their best to give us this little complement. Overall we were 5, and the rooms were not very small, yet we could not have order room service. The location is perfect unless you are in Macau just for the gambling. It is down town and we reach pretty much everything by walking. To go to the casino's strip we took the shuttle bus, right at the hotel, so it was very convenient since being 5 we should have been taken 2 taxis. Breakfast was not bad either, very limited choices, but good choices anyway, the quality is nothing so impressive but this is a 3 stars hotel so you cannot expect the buffet of the Four Season. It would be appreciated if they change some of the choices on a regular basis, instead of changing the position of the same choices. After the second day it becomes monotonous since there are not a large selection. Overall a good an pleasant hotel well located and not expensive.
