There are other cabins nearby but we were not there during a busy time and most cabins were not occupied. We would stay here again if back in the area and felt we got good value for the money."

Check-in was easy, but there were no instructions on check out, such as stripping the beds, garbage, etc. I emailed the owner to see about guidance, but never heard back. It is also in a great location for hiking at Hanging Rock State Park, and for exploring the area. Danbury is like a time-capsule with lots of history and old buildings. "This is a peaceful place to stay! The porch by the waterfall was a great place to land after a long hike! The waterfall can be heard in the house which was wonderful for us. "Beautiful restoration of an older home. Very comfortably decorated. Great communication from the owners, and I loved that they stock milk and OJ in the fridge along with cereal and coffee.
