"Convenient for a value budget hotel"

"This is a no frills resort. If you're looking to get of the beaten pay this the place . We loved it walking distance on the beach to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island , not white beach, much nicer. Restaurant has a limited selection but some tasty local foods . We rented a motorcycle for 4days best thing ever as we saw the island at our own pace. Support staff fantastic and liokes after us . Very rustic rooms gret experience."

"Property was as described and well maintained. Staff was helpful and friendly. The check in was easy. Overall was excellent for a budget hotel. We used it for my wifes family to visit Manilla. We had the room that sleeps 10 and it worked out great."

"We had an outstanding stay at the Hibiscus Garden Hotel. It has a beautiful garden and pool area. Arlene welcomed us us immediately, got help with our (many) bags from scuba diving and booked us transport to the airport. The hotel kept our bags while we were on tour. A very pleasant surprise was the hotel restaurant, which has a big menu. Everything we ate was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel."

"A good value. Hot water shower, air conditioning, cable TV, comfortable bed, and backup generator (used during periodic "brown outs".) Their restaurant is closed but there are three nearby restaurants that are good. Two within easy walking distance and the third is quickly reached by tricycle (local transport). "Decided to leave the property due to concerns about the person on site. My wife is Filipina and was a tad concerned about the individual asking for a commission on an already agreed drop off to the airport. He appeared to be intoxicated, but the real concern was he dependable, so we bailed and got a Grab to the airport and await our flight there. "By far, OYO Rockssar was the best 2-star hotel we experienced in this 3 week trip in the Philippines from Iloilo to Cebu (OYO in Moalboal cancelled on us last minute so not impressed =(), to Panglao, Coron then back to Manila.
