The cottage is supplied with everything you need and all scent free. The kitchen is a dream, well-stocked and spacious. The deck and fire pit area were an added bonus. "IF you want something private and beautiful this is the place. It is off the beaten path but well worth it. Getting to see deer every day was amazing. You can even roll down your window and talk to the them. It was exactly the peace we needed. The view is breathtaking."

Walking distance to stores, restaurants, etc all within 10 minutes. Excellent base to south shore destination- an hour to Halifax. Would book this one again in a heartbeat!"

The location was so very relaxing and there was nothing that we could have wanted or needed. The hosts were very accommodating and we felt very welcomed. "The cottage was spotless and very well appointed. Especially the kitchen: came supplied with both pod and drip coffeemakers - and coffee along with some other staples. Communication with the owners was clear and timely. While the property lot runs down to the sea at Western Shore, the cottage was not truly "ocean front". It is set back from the ocean a bit but we could sit right beside the sea. Lovely!"

"Beautiful home! Ultra clean! Floor to ceiling windows along the entire front of the house! Perfect views of the bay every day, regardless of the weather. Secluded, but there are neighbors behind. The host was amazing. So welcoming, so friendly, kind and helpful. We arrived late on a rainy, foggy night. Too late to stop at a store. We found lights on, coffee, English muffins, and jam for our breakfast. So very thoughtful!! We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a rugged, rustic...

"Me and my family had a great and relaxing time at this charming and secluded cottage. We made good use of the kayak, paddle boat, and the beaches and loved spending time on the deck overlooking the water. Even with some rainy weather, we found plenty to do in nearby towns and made use of the board games and puzzles. The cottage is off the grid and powered by generator/solar but it is easy to manage. The host was very friendly and helpful."

"A well equipped cottage and beautifully appointed on a protected cove. Beautiful deck, comfortable beds, great kitchen and nice to have to have access to washer/dryer. This was just what we were looking for - relaxation with ocean views."

"It is a beautiful property. I have two complaints: It was noisy both in terms of outside noise (someone leaving at 5am making a lot of noise inside and out) and inside - people coming and going, doors opening and closing all made more than ordinary amounts of noise. And, the key lock screen was very hard to activate and didn't seem to respond in any uniform way. Very strange."
