The hotel was beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. Our room was clean and comfortable. The lobby was a great place to relax. The restaurant and bar was awesome delicious food good drinks and great atmosphere. The staff were on point from check in to check out! I would definitely recommend the Hotel Distil and look forward to trying their other properties.

The hotel itself is very nice. There are very good restaurants in the area and close to a few distilleries. The only thing was the parking was inconvenient as we had to pay to park in the garage across the street. Other than that the stay was very nice

Great location for visiting distilleries in the area. the only knock I have was no refrigerator in the room and they could have had more storage drawers.

My wife and I moved from Louisville 25 years ago. We decided to visit for our 28th anniversary for a quick weekend. This hotel was perfect! Especially for any bourbon lovers!

Very disappointed in our stay
I booked a high level 1 bed king room for our wedding night on 10/14. When we checked in, we were told the king room was not available anymore so they downgraded us to a 2 queen bed room on the 3rd floor facing a wall. I was also charged $470 when my total was supposed to be $398.88 after fees/taxes for the better room. We are very disappointed and upset with this service. We would like to be refunded for the room expense considering we were downgraded and overcharged to begin with. We usually have good stays with Marriott but are now put off considering this was supposed to be our wedding night room.

Autograph hotels are supposed to shine and the staff are this locations saving grace. Elevators were occasionally hard to get to lower floors, and parking is not easy. The lobby is often crowded as the bar/restaurant are immediately adjacent and busy at peak times. Rooms are pretty much cookie cutter for this type of Marriott property. The in property steakhouse is good with a reasonable menu.

The hotel is classy and well-maintained. It was a pleasure to stay there. And the Fitness facility was first-rate. well-equipped and well-maintained, a rarity with most hotel fitness facilities. I will definitely plan to stay there on my next trip to Louisville!

It always seems like when I'm at Hotel Distil and sitting at the bar at Repeal, they are quick to cut you off or serve someone that walks up after doing last call around 10:45 even if there is a full bar plus people standing. It's weird to me. I think hospitality wise if it's still to that time, they could easily say,"I can fix you one. I don't know if that opens a can of worms or not.
