Great service and clean, only downside iis their business model for shuttle service is for locals, not considering overseas visitors. Be aware you require to call the hotel to arrange shuttle collection, roaming services will be incurred as they don’t offer other way of communicating via wifi (whatsapp, etc).

I felt like it was in a good area. Please beware we were there for four days with no service to our room. No one came in our room at all to clean out empty the trash out give us clean towels.

We didn't realize that there are two Sonesta properties near LAX. We ended up on the wrong shuttle to the wrong Sonesta, after following the directions on the hotel website for taknig the shuttle from the airport. We had an early morning flight and had to pay for an Uber to get back to the airport. It would be nice if the shuttle ran early enough in the morning to catch a 7:00 AM flight. Staff was friendly and helpful and room was clean

Okay value for money but parking fee is expensive ($30 per night) compared to other hotels, this is also not super clear at the time of booking so we weren’t aware that there would be a fee for this until we checked in. The bathroom set up was a bit strange, the toilet and the bath/shower were in one room and the sink was in the main area so a bit mismatched. Rooms are quite dull too, it was fine as we weren’t in the room that often but not the best.

This property needs a major refresh. Mildew smell throughout the hallway and inside room. Carpets look old with stains. I arrive at night poor visibility more lights are needed throughout the parking lot it's very dark around the property not safe especially at night as you cant see very well.

you have to pay for parking which I had in mind it was complementary but its extra. you have to pay $20 extra if you want to park in this location eve though they have plenty of parking spots available. the next day when i went to do the check out i asked if i was able to grad breakfast. I was told my room did not include breakfast. It was just me, i was thinking on grabbing a fruit or a drink for the road but my almost $200 a night did not include breakfast nor parking

It was good we arrived in the dark of night… when we woke up in the morning I was horrified to see how dirty the room was. There was broken glass on the carpet and the carpets looked like they had not been vacuumed for quite a while. The room was also just not in good condition with the bed worn out and large stains. Things in the hallways and the stinky elevator were not any better. Management does make sure the lobby appears nice but while waiting for the airport shuttle my daughter noticed a giant stain on the couch. It was a place to sleep after our flight was cancelled. Just glad we didn’t come home with bedbugs are something like that.

The person on front desk when we arrived was not very helpful and then told us to park our car to unload on the opposite side of where our room was which was very inconvenient. We were unaware that there was a $75 fee for a small 15 lb dog to stay 11 hours & also unaware that parking was $30. The lady at the breakfast bar was very helpful.

shuttle service is terrible! We requested the shuttle to airport at 9am, we were told it that the next available time is 930. Of course, it is not here at 940. The front desk was not trying to help to get us update. We took Lyft instead.

The hotel is in a quiet area very convenient to everything and El Segundo, which has excellent dining options and of course minutes from the airport and car rental. My wife and I have stayed here twice.
