“Hollywood's little gem”

We picked this hotel due to it's proximity to Hollywood Blvd, and were not dissapointed. The staff were extremely helpful and we found our 4 day stay perfect. As we were walking every where they helped out with info on the subway as well. We will definately return to this hotel. There were the usual nutters on the blvd with tours and wanna be's dressed in character costumes, they did not get too much in the way and our time in Hollywood at the end of our trip was nice and relaxing. “I love the Orchid Suites”

This is my fifth trip and my first time in a single room. It was bigger than my last apartment and had twice the closet space. I have been there previously with family and have had four in two rooms and we never felt cramped. This time, frankly, the room was way more than I could use. And the addition of breakfast is great. Since they tore down the Burger King across the street, we had to walk to Hollywood Blvd to eat. I was on a diet and didn't eat, but it looked great and was well attended. The hotel is run-down, but is kept as clean as possible. I would never hesitate to stay there or recommend it to anyone. My only complaint is that they changed the shampoo brand and don't include conditioner.

“In the middle of everything”

THe Orchid Suites had been recommended to me by a friend and family member. The room was huge for one person and right the middle of Hollywood behind the Chinese Theatre. Great location for tours and Hollywood Blvd. Plenty of places to eat. It's not a luxury Hotel but for the price you pay and location it was fantastic. I only went there to sleep and the room and bed were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful even booked Universal ticket through them. Breakfast included (get your own). Would stay there again and definitely recommend others to stay there.

“Nice hotel”

The staff at the hotel were great. The room was comfortable. The only issue we had was the microwave wasn"t working.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel!! Its location was ideal, very close to all attractions but quiet and peaceful. EVERY staff member was nice, friendly and helpful. VERY clean, very spacious rooms - we ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS HOTEL!!! We will DEFINETELY be staying again.

“Can not beat them!”

We knew it would be a nice place to stay, but we were amazed at how they even exceeded our already high expectations! The hotel was well kept, the rooms very clean and spacious ( throw back from the time they were apartments I guess) Breakfast was more than we expected with a good supply of cereals, muffins and croissants. If I had to find a fault it would be not enough trays for the breakfast as most people, unlike us would take them back to their rooms and not bother to bring them back, but not the hotels fault. Very friendly staff, safe feeling area and oh so close to Hollywood's attractions (stars walk, handprints, graumans, highland centre, tours)! Again, can not say enough about this hotel except we did not want to leave. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

“Great location and price, highly recomment”

Was not expecting such a big suite, came with its own kitchen, big bedroom and nice sized bathroom. Really great location just behind the Kodak Theater. The only downside is that the walls are a bit on the thin side and could hear next doors TV. Apart from that, its great.

“fantastic location”

We arrived at the Hollywood Orchid Suites early and could not have been more pleased with the location and the service. The hotel staff looked after our luggage and rang the cleaning staff immediately and asked to have our room cleaned. We went around the corner for lunch and when we came back our luggage was in our room. The location is fantastic, it is just behind the Chinese theatre and the Kodac Theatre. It is a very busy area but the hotel is in a nice quiet street, we did a lot of walking and felt very safe. Breakfast was good and they have free internet, not just WiFi but a terminal as not everyone carries a laptop on holidays. The pool looked lovely and clean and was quiet warm.The hotel is not new and modern but it is very clean and the staff were the most helpful that we had come accross durin our trip to America. This place was excellent value for money i would stay here again.

“great price and location”

Spent three nights at this hotel on a short trip with my family. It's a bit outdated, but the room was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Could't have asked for more at that price. It also has a great location, just steps from Hollywood Boulevard and its main attractions.

GREAT location, just behind the Kodak theater. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, spacious and had full kitchens. Breakfast was included and was really good. Great place if you're visiting LA. Will definitely come back and recommend it.
