The Clarendon is very handy for the centre of Blackheath and the staff are always helpful and approachable. Despite two major Saturday evening functions our first floor room was remarkably quiet. Bathroom facilities are on the small side and the water pressure was low when we were there making showering difficult. The hotel was obviously full last weekend and Sunday breakfast slow, with certain items not available. Minor drawbacks compared with the hotel's convenience for our purpose.
