Excellent. Could be BetterPosted 29-Jul-2014
Excellent for short stays. They did up my weeks laundry in 4 hrs. Air conditioner works 24/7. Excellent staff that is very service oriented. Good place for the highly jet lagged. Large breakfast buffet could be better.

Great hotel, comfortable bed and bathroom with allPosted 29-Jul-2014
Great hotel, comfortable bed and bathroom with all the necessities. As an Aussie, the food in the restaurant was pricey, but expected considering the chain and location. Quick express train to other Heathrow terminals

Sofitel Hotel at T5 HeathrowPosted 26-Jul-2014
Pros: location. quietness. price at certain times of the year
Cons: More checkin staff . a map of how to find the rooms
Location: What is there to say about being next to an airport Terminal
Convenient for T5; but you have to know which lift from Arrivals level to take to get to the long entrance corridor. Checkin queues can exceed twenty minutes. Room numbering system is complex; the hotel is divided into blocks .

Right in Terminal 5Posted 24-Jul-2014
Pros: Convenient, clean, comfortable.
Easy walk from arrivals to the hotel. Friendly staff, great room, comfortable bed. We still had a few hours before our next flight after late checkout, and the reception staff recommended a taxi trip to Windsor. Was a great way to spend the afternoon, then back to the hotel where they had stored our bags - delivered them on an airport trolley ready to walk to departures for our next flight. Highly recommend.

Very conveniently located in Terminal 5.Posted 23-Jul-2014
Very conveniently located in Terminal 5 (I had 2 small kids and 7 pieces of luggage). Beds were very comfortable and wished we could take it on our 10 hour airplane ride! I used the luggage service (18 pounds not part of Sofitel's services) to take the luggage from the hotel lobby to the airline check-in counter. So no stress for the airline check-in process. Quick check-in check out. Room was excellent. Staff was friendly. Breakfast spread was very good.

Wonderful, comfortable, convenient hotelPosted 22-Jul-2014
The hotel can't be beat for convenience, even though we departed out of Terminal 3, not Terminal 5. Being able to walk straight into the airport was a huge advantage. The rooms were clean, beautifully appointed, and very comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful, even at midnight!

I was overcharged twice. Trying to sort this mess out is unexceptable.

Top hotel only a short walk from T5 LHR check-inPosted 21-Jul-2014
Pros: Best feature is convenience for airport check-in, but also very comfortable and relaxing. Perfect preparation for a long-haul flight!
Cons: It is expensive, but only to be expected given hotel quality and location.
Location: Situated at Terminal 5 Heathrow - I imagine you would only stay here if flying in or out of the airport.
Not a cheap hotel, but hard to beat for convenience when your flight leaves first thing in the morning from Terminal 5 at Heathrow. Very easy to get to from the short-stay car park (where I needed to drop off my hire car) - down in the lift and along a corridor. Everything very clean and comfortable. Complimentary WIFI a little difficult to navigate (log-in page looked like you needed to pay unless you spotted a small box to check - I had to ask for help at reception). Hotel has two restaurants, two bars and one cafe. I had dinner at La Belle Epoque and the food really was excellent, although again not cheap. Staff all very friendly and helpul.
