“Hilton Metropole”

Stayed here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. Had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and found the quality of food to be excellent. The only down side was that the pillows were a bit soft and there was no choice. Cheaper hotel chains can provide a variety of pillows why not Hilton! The hotel is very close to Edgware Road underground and Paddington mainline, handy if you come by train from Heathrow airport.

Hôtel Hilton est une chaine plutôt de luxe et donc les prestations sont bonnes en rapport/qualité/prix, le personnel est gentil, parlent plusieurs langues et sont disponibles. le quartier est populaire (essentiellement libanais) mais au bout de boulevard on est à Hyde Park et Oxford Street

I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!! It was wonderfue! Beautiful, comfortable, plenty of hotel dining spots, close to the tube.

“Very nice hotel”

The hotel is walking distance from Paddington Station, the underground, bus stops and Hyde Park. We did have to wait a while for our room to be ready, but we were a little early. It seemed the hotel may have been a little understaffed. The rooms and the hotel itself were immaculate.

“Great Experience”

Although not in city center this hotel is in a great location for quick access to the city landmarks. There is a tube station with 4 of the major lines within 1/2 block. Additionally you have 2 train stations one which is Paddington that has the direct train to Heathrow. Both train stations are within 10 blocks and easy walking distance. Hotel staff is nice, room was very roomy with good air conditioning and food (breakfast buffet)was also very good although a bit pricey. Definitely would stay there again.

“Good choice in London's Paddington/Bayswater area”

The room was large compared to most London hotels (about the typical size of a moderate costing American hotel room), very clean, convenient to both the underground (right by Edgware road station) and the Heathrow express (a few blocks, but I made it fine with my rolling suitcases!). There seem to be plenty of restaurants within walking distance if you don't want to have to get out on the underground to find something. And the price wasn't exhorbitant, although it was somewhat expensive (but again, probably not so for a decent hotel in London). I'd highly recommend it if you want to stay in this area of London.

“Would definately return”

The Hilton Metropole provided us with a comfortable and convient base for our break. The hotel was very clean and well run. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive and although they were unable to give us rooms in the same part of the hotel we were given an upgrade to one of the rooms which more than compensated.

All staff extremely helpfull and friendly, nothing too much trouble when having breakfast, every waiter/waitress who passed our table stopped to see if we needed anything. Food was very good, plenty of variety and soon replenished. Room very spacious and very clean. Overall I would recommend this Hotel 100% for service, rooms, cleanliness, food and friendliness of staff.
