"We loved our stay here. It is a cozy room in the hillside of Riomaggiore. The picture included is our view from the balcony. We could see the Mediterranean and beautiful countryside of the town. Our room was clean, had everything we needed and was in a good location. Elena gave us specific instructions on how to get there from the train station ahead of time. We wished we had planned to stay longer in Riomaggiore. "

Ashes on the window ledge. Hairs in the shower. Uncomfortable bed for a couple. Dated decor. Central location. On-site parking was expensive. We parked on the street but not terribly convenient. Staff tried to be helpful. "

"The property is in front of the pretty and small Harbour . Convenient if you need to get to other areas like Portofino . The boat stops in front of your windows . Sleeping with open windows is difficult because of the different noises coming from the harbor . Better and easier to stay here if you don’t have a car , cause off site parking is at the walking distance of half mile .parking is 18€ a day, quite steep for the off site . Nice hotel but not for everyone . "

It’s essentially a private, one room bed and breakfast with your own personal concierge/host who did SO much— arranged a taxi to pick us up at the train station; made dinner reservations for us; provided tons of recommendations and was basically on call to answer questions via WhatsApp at any time.
