Property Amenities
This Las Vegas hotel's large, sky-lit atrium houses Mystic Falls Indoor Park, with a creek and pathways winding among trees and flowers. The on-site casino offers 2,300 slot, keno, and video poker machines, with a nonsmoking section featuring over 100 slot and poker machines. The 1,300-square-foot Race & Sports Book has 60 large-screen televisions and offers no-limit, pari-mutuel wagering on horse and dog races.
Sam's Town also has a 56-lane bowling center, a video arcade, an 18-screen movie theater, and a year round outdoor pool with spa tub. An 1,100-seat special events center provides nightly live entertainment. Several times each afternoon and evening, a laser-and-water show entertains guests in the atrium.
Shuttle buses travel to and from the Las Vegas Strip and downtown at scheduled times; shuttle service is included in the resort fee. Airport transportation, available during scheduled times, is also complimentary.
Both self parking and valet parking are complimentary (gratuity not included).

Billy Bob's Steak House and Saloon - Western-themed steak house. Variety of beef cuts, ribs, chicken. Reservations recommended. Dinner served.
Firelight Buffet - International menu including rotisserie choices, omelet stations, and serviced buffets. Breakfast Monday–Friday, daily lunch and dinner, weekend champagne brunch served.
Willy and Jose's Cantina - Casual Mexican cantina-style restaurant. Variety of traditional south-of-the-border specialties. Flavored margaritas. Lunch Wednesday–Sunday, nightly dinner.
Ram's Head - Casual bar in atrium. Variety of draft beers. Good vantage point for evening laser show. Open from early morning to late evening.
Food Court - Restaurants include McDonald's, Sbarro, Panda Express. Open from early morning to late evening.
Calamity Jane's Ice Cream Parlor - Ice cream, sweets, and ice cream treats. Open from early afternoon to late evening.

Winchester Bar - Between the movie theater and bell desk. Open 24 hours.
Paddock Bar - Near the race and sports book. Open 24 hours.

Entertainment
Headline performers take the stage at the 1,100-seat Sam's Town Live! Entertainers have included Kenny Loggins, Neal McCoy, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Casino action includes 2,300 slot, keno, and video poker machines, as well as a nonsmoking section featuring over 100 slot and poker machines. The 1,300-square-foot Race & Sports Book has 60 large-screen televisions and offers no-limit, pari-mutuel wagering on horse and dog races. Sam's Town also has a poker room with daily tournaments and a bingo parlor with eight daily sessions.
B Connected offers complimentary membership cards that reward slot and video-poker play with cash and/or comps redeemable for food, beverages, and discounted guestrooms. Table-game play also earns comps and discounts.
A complimentary water-and-laser show, Sunset Stampede, is produced in Mystic Falls Park daily at 2 PM, 6 PM, 8 PM, and 10 PM.
Located on the casino level, Roxy's Lounge hosts Latin dance parties, variety acts, and live bands.
The Sam's Town 56-lane AMF bowling center hosts local and national tournaments. X-treme Bowling (part disco, part bowling) also takes place 12 AM–4 AM on Friday and Saturday nights (for guests 18 and older).
The 18-screen Century 18 Theatre offers stadium seating and THX Digital Sound.

Recreation
Sam's Town has a 56-lane bowling center. The lanes are open 24 hours a day and have automatic scoring. The bowling center has a snack shop, cocktail lounge, video arcade, day-care center, shoe rental desk, and pro shop.
The hotel also has an outdoor pool and spa tub. The 18-screen, on-site movie theater provides year-round entertainment.
Two miles away at Stallion Mountain Country Club, guests can play at any of three 18-hole courses (surcharges).
Skydiving and helicopter tours are popular with Las Vegas visitors. Numerous golf courses are available in the Las Vegas area.

“impressed”
grounds are beautiful nice lazer show in the evening and best of all it was complimentary
“Honeymoon Spot, Family Friendly, Cheap, Clean A+++++”
We stayed here for 4 nights on our Honeymoon in April, we absolutley loved it. At first we were a lil dissapointed that it wasn't on the strip, but they provide an ongoing shuttle to and from 4 central locations on the strip from 10A-10P. And after walking the way too busy hotels on the strip we were glad we didn'to stay on the strip. This hotel had just as much fun going on!! It's only a couple blocks from Harrah's. Sam's town was really like a town with good restraunts, we ate at Friday's, Bill & Bob's, Dunkin Donuts, an awesome Buffet(and I usually hate buffets) with a really cool dessert bar. There was a light show, with a fountain and lifesize anamatronic animals, huge casino, stage theater! pool, movie theater bowing alley so much!!!! very clean and very nice staff, good cheap drinks. We actually spent more time here than anywhere else!
“Wonderful Hotel”
This was the 3rd time we stayed at this hotel because it's affordable, clean, comfortable, and provides an excellent all around experience. The restaurant selection and quality is excellent, the pool and hot tub are fabulous, and the staff are courteous and helpful. We really wouldn't think of staying anywhere else when we visit Las Vegas.

Clean, great service, professional staff. You want extra pillows? you got 'em within 20 minutes. Fridge in your room? Yep! What ever you need, you got it. Fantastic restaurants and buffet. In Vegas, this is our new home away from home, er, with better service.

Great place to stay, we have stayed at Sam's numerous times and will definitely stay there again. We love the pool area it is a great place to relax. The room was very comfortable and the variety of places to eat at Sam's is nice. One only suggestions to Sam's is to add a later return time from the strip so you can go to a show and take the shuttle back to Sam's. More shuttle stops and pickup locations would be nice too.

Bien que situé plus loin de la majorité des grands casinos, cet hôtel est remarquable, si l'on considère le prix des chambres et tous les services qu'il offre. Le personnel est très serviable, la salle à manger pour le buffet très vaste et propre, la cour intérieure avec ses arbres et sa chute ajoute une touche naturelle. Bref, si vous ne recherchez pas le grand luxe mais appréciez tout de même le confort, la propreté et un personnel souriant et serviable alors le Sam's Town est tout indiqué.
“The best value in Vegas by FAR!”
This hotel was a GREAT value, very clean and offered everything we needed for a short stay in Vegas. The food was fantastic and the BEER flowed at amazingly LOW prices, even after happy hour! 30+ ozs of premium beer for under $6 is a steal in Vegas. The rooms were very clean and were well above our expectations for the Saturday night price we got. The previous ratings of this hotel shown above 4.0 are all right on the mark. I couldn't have been more impressed with everything for these prices. This was my first, but NOT last time staying at Sam's Town.
“Surprised for the price”
We just needed a quick stay as we traveled through Vegas. We got an incredible deal on Expedia (less than half of what we pay for gas) and thought we would stay here even though we had never heard of the place. It was much bigger than I expected and I was shocked at how nice it was for the price. They have an indoor atrium with mechanical animals which was great to entertain my two year old. It was extremely clean and had lots of small restaurants (McDonald's, Panda Express, Subway, Sbarro) that didn't come with the Vegas mark up price as these places do inside hotels on the strip. The room was nice. It had a nice bathroom with a large round garden tub. The beds were a little hard. The pool was nice and clean and shaded in the afternoon which was nice to beat the heat. I kept telling my wife that I couldn't believe how nice this place was for the price we paid. We would stay here again if we were to come to Vegas.

the staff at Sam's were very friendly, helpful..I enjoyed my stay very much...I have stayed there a couple of times before...I will stay there again...It is close to everything...
