“Clean and Roomy”

We only stayed over night but had a great experience.... and our little dog was happy too! Breakfast waffles were delicious!

Area recommendations

We liked Henderson, NV because it was close to my brother's residence and our visit was short one, so it was nice NOT to have to drive the 30-45 minutes into Las Vegas.

Must see

Lake Las Vegas is a nice get-away from the hustle of Las Vegas.... it has a quaint little village with shops and eateries ... it was lovely to walk around and enjoy the desert scenery.

“Not Impressed”

The hotel staff was very nice BUT.. the room was old, carpet had dirt from years of use. Furniture was older than I am. The bedding consisted of two sheets, a thin throw blanket that covered ONE person. We asked for more blankets they had NONE. They kept telling us the hotel was going to be renovated and they were not allowed to purchase anything new. We had 1/2 a roll of toilet paper in our room and when we asked for more - they didn't have any. I will never stay at a Hawthorne suites again.

“Excellent Hotel”

The staff and hotel was excellent. The staff went out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was an added plus and one evening meal durning the week was an extra plus. I reccomend this hotel to anyone. I have stayed at 2 of your sites now Sacramento, CA. and Henderson, NV and am completely satisfied with the excellent service. I will be returning.

Area recommendations

Henderson, Nevada. This area is clean and not far from downtown and the Las Vegas strip. There are plenty of bus lines that take you to both sections and they run 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

“"will go back again"”

The room was comfortable and clean and we really enjoyed the breakfast. The area was quiet and close to everything we wanted to do. Great value for the money!

“Better than I expected!”

This hotel was in the lower price range so I wasn't expecting too much. I was positively surprised when we walked into the lobby and even more so when we got to the room. There was a mini-fridge, microwave, DVD player. All of the employees were great, very cheerful even in the middle of the night! My kids also loved their continental breakfast and I will admit it was one of the better ones I have seen as well. They had a big selection of food and it was all pretty good! I was happy enough with it to recommend it to my brother who had problems where he had booked a room. He switched to this place and everything else went great!

Getting there

This hotel was hard to find! There was a huge lighted sign to a casino, but the sign to the hotel was small and back from the street. We had to drive up and down a few times before we found it. The hotel said that they were not affiliated with the casino and therefore could not use that name in their ads. Calling for the cross streets would be helpful in locating this hotel.
