“Awesome for the price”

My first time staying at the Gold Coast, location was great, a little ways off the strip down Flamingo Rd, right accross from the Palms. The room was clean, the view was great from the 6th floor, check in was quick and easy. Room service didnt steal my stuff, and access to the parking garage wasnt too bad. Room did not have a refrigerator, but the ice machine worked fine so I cant complain. Theres a TGI Fridays inside, and they have a breakfast menu which was convenient. They do charge a $3/day take your money for whatever reason fee like every other hotel does these days. They also have a shuttle that runs to the strip close to Ceasars Palace if you want to avoid driving.

“great hotel”

Although the hotel is not on the strip the free shuttle that is provided is excellent. only a couple of minutes away from the stripon the bus, to walk about 15 mins. The rooms have excellent views and are clean and a good size, the bathroom is a bit on the small side but nothing to complain about. The all day buffets are cheap and the food is great, also do a all night graveyard special which is really cheap about $4.00, comps are not as good as in some of the other hotels, but the bingo is great and have some really good prize money. We had a great time here

“Golden Experience”

I was literally shocked at how nice the room was. From the easy check in all the way to check out this was a very good deal. I will definitely stay there again.

“Great value for the money, big enough without being too big.”

We went to Vegas with family but they stayed next door at the Rio. Everything about the Gold Coast was better: the food, the service, the prices, the parking. They came over from the Rio to eat and gamble since it was so much better and cheaper. Our bed was perfectly firm. Yes, the decor is a bit dated. If you are obese or frail, you will have a problem with the small bathroom, but if you are a normal, healthy adult, you'll have no problem. All I really need in a bathroom it had: the toilet flushed completely, the first time every time, and the shower had lots of pressure and hot water. On-site TGI Fridays and Asian cuisine was perfect for our tastes, which tend to smaller portions or lighter fare. The buffet and steak house looked fine but not really our style. All in all a great value for our money, and small enough that we didn't feel like we had to hike just to go to dinner or gamble.
