“Good Location, been staying there for years!”
Been staying at the Gold Coast for a number of years since it was sold their has been some changes that I've noticed over the years. I really miss the bar and cafe that used to be there...Sorry TGIFridays isn't my favorite. The rooms were generally cleaned well (although I did find an Iphone charger in the drawer that wasn't mine) Front desk staff are super and the Valets and Bell staff are always awesome. Ping Pang Pongs have the BEST chinese food ever!! It's just a minute off the strip half the price and none of the super long walks to get anywhere associated with the big hotels....for the younger crowd not a super place but for people that aren't looking for a loud obnoxious hotel this is great (and I always make money in the Casino!!)
“Good Bang For the Buck”
This is the second year for me at the Gold Coast and I will continue to go there. While it is one of the older hotels and some distance from the strip, the wife and I enjoyed our stay. After going to some of the larger casinos on the strip the wife and I found we prefered a little bit smaller casino. Not as glitzy and flashy but a fun place to be. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpfull with any questions we had.
“Decent Hotel”
My husband and I stayed at the Gold Coast for the National Finals Rodeo. Overall, we had a good experience. The room was clean, but the bathroom was very small and the view out of our room was the alley behind the hotel. The hotel is off the strip, but the shuttle ran regularly and dropped us off at Bill's on the strip. It was a fun hotel to stay at during the NFR because there was an "after the rodeo" party upstairs with a live band. For the price, we would recommend this hotel.
“NFR 2011”
THIS IS THE MOST FRIENDLY HOTEL IN VEGAS. PEOPLE STOP TO TALK TO YOU AND REMEMBER YOU THE NEXT TIME
“alright hotel”
The hotle was fine the furniture was a little cheesey and we got a new renovated room. I was not happy with the maid knocking on the door at 9 am when we did not get to sleep til early in the morning and had the do not disturb sign on the door. other than that it was nice.
“grimm”
long corridors, smoky casino, windows don't open, shower pressure in the shower will tear a baby's head off.
“Good Time”
Desk clerks were very helpfull, clean rooms, great buffet
“Meets Expectations For A Great Rate”
This was my 3rd time staying at the Gold Coast and it is a nice hotel. Just Off Strip across from the Palms and next door to the Rio. Free shuttle takes you to The Strip between 9am and 12:30am. The buffet is cheap and has such a good selection of great tasting food. TGI Friday's is also in the hotel that is open 24 hrs. Check in was quick and the staff always friendly. Only drawback is not many cabs sit out front so best bet is to walk across the street to either Palms or Rio to grab a cab. Also convenient is taking a shuttle to The Strip from the Rio. Gold Coast's shuttle is good but heads to their sister property The Orleans first then doubles back and drops off at The Strip. This place has always a good low rate and don't let that fool you. This is way better than the Imperial Palace by far. Flat Screen TV's in the rooms too. Only downfall in the standard rooms is the bathroom is small. The sink is outside of the bathroom but hidden by a wall.
“the price was right and the hotel was great”
Tell my all my friends about how good it was thank you
“the same fun, only less crowded”
all the same games and fun, but less crowded. Equally bad smoke, for a non smoker. I like this hotel, and always go to play there, when i stay somewhere else. I like all the Boyd groups, that i have visited on trips.
