it was gross. the first room we got smelled like a smokers room. The second room was gross too. the bathroom smelled like urine. The roof right outside our door was peeling. and unfortunately, since it was graduation weekend, we paid top dollar. the staff was nice, but that didn't make up for the room.

This is the worst room I ever stayed in. It was dirty. The furniture was falling apart. It smelled like wet dog. If I had options I would have left. Don’t stay here.

I'm kinda disappointed with my stay here, the heater is not working properly the refrigerator is making all kinds of noise , there are bugs in the bathroom crawling around. The remote for the TV barely works and when it does it doesn't do what you were trying to to do... It does what it wants to when it wants to...😞 I'm going to request a refund, especially because it's cold in here and the heater isn't blowing air at all 😞

Wish i could share a photo od the absolutely disgusting sheets. Then to be told that my 4 perosn room could only have 2 towels! On top of the peopel running through the hallways at 2 am yelling. Stay far away from this hotel.

I only stayed for 1 night for the weekend and it went only well. They kept this place cleaned but not too clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. The staffs were nice and they have everything you need for this place! I would recommend it here since it’s cheaper!

We had to air our room out due to the marijuana smell. The front desk only noted the smell but no assistance or solution was provided. The sheets were stained and we found papers left in drawers- The room had obviously not been cleaned. The parking lot had cars with loud music playing at 3am and non-stop traffic in and out of the facility.

The man at the front desk is a real gem. You don't generally find that level of courtesy and respect in budget friendly accommodations. He gave me the extra set of towels I requested and brought an extra pillow to my room, all with a smile in spite of the inconvenience to himself for having to search the laundry room. The room itself is about what can be expected in this price range. One bed had a small burn mark and the other had a stain, but the floors were not sticky, thank God, and the toilet was actually clean under the seat. Small annoyances such as the TV remote needing new batteries and the bathtub slightly on the small side for soaking were not enough to spoil our stay. I was, however, a little disappointed because I thought I booked a room that served breakfast, and this location, unfortunately, does not, although they do appear to have the capacity for it in what appears to be a dining area just around the hall from the front desk.

The room was dirty- toilet dirty- the carpet on the entire floor was SOAKED - come to find out there was no shower curtain- and the entire bathroom floor was soaked- leading to the possible reason the entire floor (carpet) was soaked... obviously if they cleaned it they would have known there was no shower curtain at all... toilet had hair and piss all over it... stayed there many times- its a true "roach hotel"- its cheap- but you might be taking a shower in the open... LOL

Our stay this year was absolutely awful. Couldn't get into our room after having the keys reset twice so had to get a different room. Our room stunk of weed & cat pee. The bathroom door didn't close. The vanity light didn't work. We were surrounded by people who were doing drugs. The last morning there, we woke up to a cockroach crawling on the wall. I will never stay there again.

Worst hotel stay ever!-Manager lies!
The place was filthy and falling apart. Sometime after checkin at 10pm Friday night and 6am Saturday morning the glass in the main hotel door just shattered everywhere. They put plastic in the door, but left the broken glass for their guests to walk on. The television in the room didn’t work, I was told it would be fixed by the time we got back to the hotel on the second night and it wasn’t. There was mold in the nasty bathroom light/fan fixture (photos attached). We were given 1 bath towel for 2 people for 2 nights and told we couldn’t have anymore because they didn’t have any. The trim was peeling off the wall and I tripped over it in the dark because lightbulbs were burnt out. A refrigerator was advertised, but as seen in the photos, one was not provided. Overall a horrible experience. I would never recommend anyone stay at this location.
The glass in the hotel lobby door just shattered over night and was replaced by plastic. Glass shards still on the ground.
Dead bugs in the light fixture.
Mold, dirt, and just plain nastiness in the bathroom vent fan.
There is supposed to be a refrigerator here as advertised…we were provided an empty hole.

The good things: Cheap, comfy bed, lots of outlets by the bed, pets stay free, well lit at night, lots of grass close by to walk pets, near msu and Mclaren, friendly staff. The negative things: Old facilities, no Bible, ant infested, holey comforter, shower didn't get hot, dirty coffee maker, bad cheap coffee, no breakfast, crackling phone connection every call to front desk, stained bath mat and tattered towels, shorted a wash cloth. All that to say, it was a great price and we'd actually likely stay there again. Convenient location, nice setting near msu agricultural fields.

Check in lady was super sweet. The group checking in in front of me… huge bag of weed in hand. Loud music blaring until 1 am. Some group sitting in their car in front of my room music playing, pitbull hanging out of the back window and a kid watching a movie in the backseat until midnight. Then a fight broke out at 3 am and they were screaming all throughout the parking lot until 3:30 am. Room was clean enough but lamps had rust all over them. Dead bugs on the lights above the bathroom sink, mold in the shower.

The staff that checked us in were friendly and courteous. The bathroom in our room needed a lot of updates including the walls washed and painted. The bed was clean.
