"The best area is the new adults only whirlpool and panoramic sauna which has been built in thr last 2 years. This is more in line with the facilities at lefay dolomiti. The other main sauna and hammam areas probably need a refurbishment. They seem either too hot so cant stay in them long or not hot enough and there are no benches just individual seats in a circular way which means you are facing other people and cant lay down. "Lovely site. Stayed with seven adults and two children end of September. Great facilities but would recommend a car as taxis are scarce. We still managed to get ferries etc mainly from Portese which is around 20 minutes walk, but a very steep hill coming back. Shop could have sold more provisions and without a car the Supermarket is a long walk. But saying that it is manageable. Saying all that we had a great time . Salo is also walkable even for my husband and I in our sixties "
