The hotel was well located. The decor was a bit dated, but clean. My only criticism is that the beds were so hard it was like sleeping on a table!! So not altogether pleasant.

I liked how close the property was to Kyoto station. I also enjoyed the view of the mountains. I didn’t like how cold the room could get. The heat didn’t seem to work properly

You can get massages nightly starting at 5pm! Property is clean and service desk is nice. Would be back in a heart beat!

Conveniently located across Kyoto station and nearby bus stations. My room was larger than the hotels I stayed in Tokyo, however water temperature when showering fluctuated frequently. Service was good and the staff was helpful.

No room safe. No room service to speak of. No free coffee, sugar or milk. AC did not work. Bathroom was a pod with no natural light. One of the most impersonal hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Check in and out by machine.

Great Location with easy access to the train station. Extra fees for local taxes were kinda annoying and should just be included in total price. Air conditioner didn’t work. Shower temperature fluctuated wildly between hot and cold and not consistent. Housekeeping available for an extra charge. Bed was uncomfortably hard.

As a large hotel, staff often look a little panicked at the great swathes of people coming and going, and tend to look rather unhappy in their work. Rooms are clean but beds are really very hard and seriously uncomfortable. Dining options are plentiful but breakfast isn’t the best. Location is fine but you can hear trains through the windows of your room.
