Make sure you get what you booked.
The hotel is well situated within walking distance of everything. Parking is very close by but also very expensive. The sea view is nice. The hotel doesn't have a pool or beach but you can use the facilities from the one next door although you do have to pay for the sun loungers on the "beach" The one thing that I did NOT like is that if you book a superior twin with sea view which is supposed to have 2 single beds and a double sofa bed, you should not get a double room with a queen sized bed a a single sofa bed. Also the room was next to reception, the baggage room and not only tiny but very noisy. Make sure you get what you book. Although it's with half board we ate out for diner.

New 2018 Lungomare Opatija
I was not impressed with hardly anything at the Lungomare Opatija. Our instructions from booking.com told us to check in next door at the Remisens Hotel Kristal, which was incorrect, but I wish I’d have just stayed there instead. There was some “new” updates to the hotel room but what was not updated was quite obvious by comparison and looked dingy and even dirty. The photos do not represent what the room really looks like, IMO, and they clearly need a paint job and some freshening up. You must pay to park for approximately $25 USD per 24 hour period at a parking garage nearby. Swimming at the beach or the pool is next door at the Remisens hotel so you must then pay for a lounge charge and umbrella $10. I even had to go there to get help opening my bottle of wine because they had no wine opener in the restaurant. The waitress even gave me a difficult time getting ice and a container at this hotel and was not very friendly about it. We did enjoy the breakfast, which was ample and fresh.

Boende under förväntan
Hotellet är fint, läget och utsikten är super. Personalen i receptionen är proffsig. Dock kände vi att vi inte fick vad vi betalade för. Frukosten var andefattig - samma utbud varje dag, och utbudet är hjärtlöst. Det saknas engagemang och driv i köket. Vi fick dagligen påtala att det saknades mat. Bemötandet från personalen var illa och oprofessionellt. Rummen på hotellet är lyhörda. Både samtal från grannarna ovanför och hundar utifrån korridoren och andra rum längre bort hördes tydligt och väckte oss såväl mitt i natten som på morgonen. Kommer inte välja detta hotell framöver. Förutsatte att parkering ingick, eftersom vi valde det i specifikationen. Så var inte fallet. För en vecka kostade parkering 2000 kr.
Tre sorters bröd varav två baguetter. Detta var frukosten varje dag. Torftigt.
Bristande engagemang i köket. Ofta smutsigt och bortglömt i serveringen.
Fick dagligen påtala exakt vad som var slut. Saknades helt engagemang att fylla på och snygga till. Den tillagade maten var dränkt i olja.

Das Hotel ist renoviert und sehr schön eingerichtet. Unser Zimmer war sauber und geräumig, das Bett groß und bequem. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick, leider war der Balkon etwas klein. Im Zimmer gibt es keine Minibar oder Kühlschrank. Die Klimaanlage ist auf 19°C eingestellt. Wenn man diese Einstellung geändert hat war das nur temporär möglich, da über Nacht wieder auf die Standardeinstellung zurück gesetzt wurde. Der Zugang zur Dusche ist sehr eng und somit für kräftige und/oder ungelenkige Menschen nur schwer zu überwinden. Da unser Zimmer auf der Eingangsebene war hatten wir die Geräuschkulisse der Reinigungskräfte am Morgen. Offene Fenster waren leider auch nicht möglich durch die Geräuschkulisse der Promenade und die Parkplätze auf selber Höhe. Die Heiß- und Kaltgetränke am Frühstückbuffet waren eine Zumutung! Die sogenannten "Säfte" aus dem Automaten absolut verwässert und ungenießbar. Die dunkle Flüssigkeit welche als Kaffee bezeichnet wurde, nicht trinkbar. Die Backwaren waren gut. Eierspeisen frisch zubereitet. Die Trockenfeigen waren leider qualitativ nicht gut. Parkplätze gibt es direkt gegenüber vom Hotel welche allerdings sehr teuer sind. Zum Koffer aus- und einladen aber absolut praktisch. Das Personal im Hotel war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Not a pleasant stay!!!! We got robbed!
I want to tell about our horrible stay at this hotel. Even if the hotel is located at a nice place our whole vacation was destroyed. You should watch out for booking this hotel or at least when you stay there you should hold your stuff all the time. We got robbed in our room. Our passports and money was taken. When we reported this to the reception they were not so eager to help out, more like saying we can not do much you should call the police. We asked to talk to the manager but he was never available, he did not bother to come and talk with us. We asked them to check who has entered our room and by checking that, they saw that only our key was used and the house keeping key. So you guess yourself what have happened?!!! We definitely don't recommend you to stay at this hotel!!!!

Urlaub mit Freunden und Familie
Ein sehr gelungener Urlaub, man muss sich nur im Klaren sein, dass es kein ruhiger Urlaub ist. Das Hotel liegt neben der Strasse, leider wenig Parkmöglichkeiten beim Hotel, Parkgarage ist in der Nähe und günstiger. Das Hotel ist neu renoviert und komfortabel. Liegt direkt an der Promenade, man kann den Strand des Nachbarhotels nutzen, für Liegen & Schirme bezahlt man. Auch an der Riviera sind die Liegen zu zahlen. Das Frühstück ist ok, Kaffee, Tee, Saftbar stehen am Buffet. Abendessen ist nach Preis Leistung gut. Bier, Wein und Säfte im Preis inbegriffen. Die Zimmer sind sehr unterschiedlich gross aber sehr ok für den Preis. Das Personal ist sehr motiviert, freundlich und aufmerksam. Auf Grund der Preis-Leistung würden wir wieder buchen.

Das schlechteste um Euro 150/Nacht in Opatija
Wir waren vom 15 bis 17.8.19 in diesen Hotel, Zimmerpreis Euro 150/Nacht, das wäre auch noch o.k., wenngleich für 3 Sterne im obersten Bereich, nun zu meinen Mängeln, es gibt einen Privatstrand wie inseriert, aber man muss als Gast für die Sonndnliege Eur 10/Tag bezahlen, dies ist vollkommen unüblich und Gratis für Gäste in allen anderen Hotels, das Zimmer wurde ferner schlicht und einfach nicht gereinigt, wodurch es auch an Shampoo und Seife fehlte, mein Rat nehmen sie ein anderes Hotel noch zum Schluss die Anmerkung das das Bad (Dusche) so klein ist das fast das betreten bzw. Türe schließen während des Duschen unmöglich ist, dass beste ist das Essen und die integrierten Getränke
