"The resort was inland but a regular shuttle takes you to a nice beach. A restaurant provides beer and food there at very reasonable prices. Free abundant beach chairs and shade is available. Several restaurants are a short walk away down a road heading towards the beach from the front of the hotel. Massage is available at a reasonable price at the hotel as well. The beach allows you to walk out 1/2 kilometre and still be chest deep and the water is warm. "Pen was phenomenal. English-speaking and very helpful getting taxis and answering questions. Pen made our stay wonderful. This is a beautiful resort in the middle of nowhere, which was just the getaway we were looking for. We did get a taxi to White Sand Beach one day and I was glad we didn’t stay there because it was too touristy. At night at Parama, all you can hear are birds and frogs. Paradise. "
