Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Very clean. And can’t beat the price for what you get. Have paid more for a lot less where you actually feel like you’re in a low budget grungy motel. Hotel feel without the hotel cost.

Paul at the front desk was an absolute delight to talk with - gave us restaurant recommendations, advised us on the best route to continue our trip and gave a map to the mountain bike trails. It was a rare pleasure to be greeted by such a personable human! The room was but clean and serviceable, easily accessible from outside for our dog and had a larger than usual fridge, which was a pleasant surprise as well.

Booked this motel for a night over on the road trip. And it was perfect for it! The room had everything it needs and very clean. Their staff, Paul, checked me in and he was the nicest and friendliest person to interact with! I strongly recommend this motel!

When I called to say we would arrive well past the office closing time and were assured that all would be well. We were greeted cheerfully and quickly checked in. The room was impeccably clean, well maintained and comfortable. We will be back!

Beds and sheets were very clean. Carpets had a lot of stains but that makes sense for having carpet in a motel room when you come from straight outside. When I came in to get my room key, the lady at the front, squid, was amazing. So polite and helpful and extremely friendly. I wasn’t worried at all with the area and being alone. The only thing I wish I had was a blow dryer. I didn’t bring mine as most places have them. Also I would make sure the air conditioner is wiped down as it was pretty dirty but honestly for being a motel this place was decent for the price. I would have no issues staying there again

Thank you for your reveiw. I'm glad Sydney has been very helpful. As for the blow dryers, we keep in the office as when we leave them in the rooms they get stolen. It gets very costly some weeks. :) We are currently updating when we can. Our next plan is to get rid of the carpet and put laminate in the rooms, specially in the pet friendly rooms. I find carpet extremely dirty. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and hopefully see you again :)

The staff was friendly and very accommodating when we needed an extra blanket. Room was clean with the usual amenities. It is a little dated but being that it has been here since the 50’s it is pretty nice place. I’d definitely recommend this place.

This is our 4 th stay. And it’s a great motel. Clean, comfortable beds, and the owners do a great job in maintaining the surroundings. Great pool if you have kids and they have a couple of nice bbq if you want to throw something on the bbq.

Nice motel in Kamloops
Arrived in Kamloops Sept 1 and we were surprised by the warmth and unfortunately the smoke. The Grandview Motel was easy to find, the check-in process was fast. Not knowing the area we asked the manager for any evening dining options. many of them were within easy walking distance. We choose the nearest and walked one block to a great meal. After dinner, although the outside temperature had cooled somewhat our room was 28°C and the AC wasn't working! At 21:00 I spoke to the manager and explained our situation. He promptly came over and was also unable to get the mini split working. We asked for a fan and he said he would look for one, but didn't think he had any. At 22:30 he returned with a large rotating fan and saved the day. The beds were very comfortable and the location was fairly quiet. The manager's response to our cooling situation was exemplary.

Thank you for the review.There is a sign posted on the grass when a person first pulls in. The sign does say private property as well as the light up open sign in the big window when a person enters the motel from the street says open to help guide guests correctly. People tend to not read the private property sign or miss it, which happens. Accidents happen and the renters are use to it since its me and my family that live their haha
