Perfect start to our vacation.
The property is within walking distance to a shopping plaza with everything you need. It us a short drive to the Alii Dr. Shops. The pool, tennis and pickle ball courts were a nice added bonus. It was perfect for our first few days on the island. Great location.

Amazing!! Perfect place for family of 4
Jessica’s place is perfect for any traveler. The master bedroom has a comfy king sized bed and the room across the hallway has two twin sized beds. There are two full bathrooms which is a huge plus when we have multiple people vying for showers after a day at the beach! The condo is located south of Kona so you’re not in the hustle bustle traffic. You can walk to a great beach for snorkeling (it’s literally right down the street!)- we walked and it took us less than 10 minutes. There’s also a grocery store and multiple restaurants all within walking distance as well. The condo has a swimming pool and pickleball courts-Jessica’s condo is fully stocked with pickleball paddles and balls as well as everything you need for a day at the beach (chairs, cooler, snorkel gear, sand toys). The best part of the condo is the view!! You’re literally right on the water. You get to hear the waves crash all night - so perfect. Also, every evening you get to witness beautiful sunsets. Jessica was very responsive and was an amazing host. We would 100% stay here again!! Thank you Jessica!!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The view was great once they were able to remove the safety boards because of extreme high tides. It is an older property but very well furnished. The Owner was very responsive to our needs. The location is well situated to get into town and other amenities.

An absolute treasure
This is our 4th time staying here over the last 5 years and we hope to keep coming back as long as we’re able. Super clean and wonderful accommodations in a very nice and quiet area, with an absolutely unbeatable view of the ocean and sunsets. The pool is great and you have easy access to the shopping complex and restaurants just right across the street. I almost hate hyping the place up so much because I don’t want it to get so popular we can’t book it when we want, but it really is worth every penny and you’re getting an incredible deal staying here.

Great ocean front location!
We loved the oceanfront location-sunsets were gorgeous! Being close to the pool was really nice as well. The kitchen is a little small but do-able. The AC is not what I think of as “central” as in vents in every room. There is a large unit in the main room that does a great job of cooling that area. It doesn’t really reach into the kitchen so the kitchen was always a little warm. Units in the bedrooms worked very well also, but the bathroom was always a little warm. Not a big deal though. We really appreciated the chairs and other beach items they provided! Overall a wonderful stay!

Kona waterfront property
The condo we stayed in was in an excellent location. We were only a short drive from many of the activities we were interested in doing during our stay. The condo also had A/C throughout the entire unit, which we had difficulty finding in other units/hotels in Kona. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a convenient location on the water. Also-swimming with the Manta Rays is a must!

Perfect spot for our family getaway
This was the perfect spot for our family vacation. Relaxing being right on the waterfront and not far from some nice beaches. I had an issue while we were there in that the property manager changed the method of accessing the pool versus what was listed in the home documents. The others got back to us right away even though it was 8 pm in Hawaii and got us the info we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

This worked well as a home base for our family of four. It’s a small unit, but worked just fine for our group. The kitchen is small but well appointed and had what we needed to make several meals in unit. The unit provided a great array of snorkeling/beach gear. The cleanest place I've ever stayed
We had a lovely time! The townhouse is very clean. We saw whales and dolphins from the back porch, which was great because our boat tours got cancelled for bad weather. The A/C worked very well and we were so glad we had it! The parking space is about 20 yards from the entrance, no stairs. The host was very communicative which was wonderful. We had lots of fun and really enjoyed our trip. This was a really great townhouse and we would definitely stay here again. The beach gear includes: a few chairs, sand toys, golf clubs, tennis rackets, kites, a first aid kit, two small coolers, snorkels, and more. A couple notes: the stairs have risen lips on them that make them difficult/dangerous to walk on, the beds and pillows are super ultra soft, the wifi was in and out so I wouldn't stay here if you need reliable wifi for work.

You cannot beat the location of this property if you want to hear the sounds of the Pacific Ocean. Although you cannot swim outside the Lanai, an adorable snorkeling cove is within a 3 minute drive of the unit. The owner has a fantastic supply closet of anything you could need to make your stay easier (Coolers, beach chairs, sand toys, snorkeling equipment, umbrella, tennis rackets - it is located in a racket club). It was a short drive to the shopping district of Kona and about 1 hour to Volcano National Park. The home/kitchen was stocked with enough towels, sheets, pillows, cooking utensils, dishes, glassware, etc. Could not ask for a better location to start the new year off! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great location, although due to the storm/high surf the patio/lanai area and windows were boarded up for 5 of the 7 days. Once they were opened - the views were fabulous!! However, the owners provided a partial refund because of it - very generous! Well appointed condo; loved the provided beach eqpt. Kitchen could have been stocked a little better to allow for more "at home cooking". Could have used plastic wrap/foil for leftovers. Towels and bathroom accessories were generous. We would easily stay here again - thanks for making our vacation stay wonderful!!

The townhouse that we stayed in was comfortable and well stocked especially appreciative of the wonderful snacks left for us. We used the cooler and chairs along with the snorkel gear which was a nice touch. The space was adequate for a family of four. However the master bedroom was a bit tight. The closet was missing the bar which would have been more useful than all the extra pillows and blankets that we never needed. Overall we would recommend this property to others.

The best place we ever rented!
First, to establish our bona fides, we have rented apartments in over a dozen countries, in some of which we have rented more than six times (different apartments) each. This apartment was the best ever! It was easy to find, communications with the owner were excellent, the apartment was spotless (with nary a bug, the bane of tropical living). The A/C was fine, as was water pressure, hot water, and drainage, The beds were amazingly comfortable. The back of the apartment contained a lanai that faced the rocky coast, with beautiful sunsets. (The pounding surf occurred a few hundred yards up the coast; the ocean was relatively placid just outside the apartment.) The gem of the apartment was the kitchen, with every imaginable utensil available. Since we rarely, if ever, eat out when we travel -- we prepare just about every meal in the rented apartment -- the kitchen was stocked as well as our "foodie kitchen" at home. Would we stay there again? Yes, in a heartbeat.

Note that the private beach is rocky and not safe for swimming. It’s pretty to sit by and watching the sunsets from there was so pretty. We also loved the pool!

Gorgeous Sunsets!
We loved the location and privacy of this townhouse. We had a lovely welcome basket of fun goodies when we arrived, a very nice unexpected touch. The owner was great to deal with. One of our favorite parts of the island was the Hawaii Tropic Bioreserve and Garden, amazing! Snorkeling was great at two step, gets busy, get there early. Also loved the Volcanoe National Park. Wonderful visit, hope to return.

Beautiful Ocean Views and Peaceful [when surf is not high]
The condo is located in a nice gated community, and the ocean view off the back patio [which is not private as people can walk by and you can see other patios next door] is breathtaking [we saw dolphins swimming on several days!]. We brought take-out home to eat on the back patio often and watch the sunset. There is beach access within a 5 minute walk [good for sunset watching, but not swimming]. There is a convenient shopping center 5 minutes away with restaurants and a grocery store (and a farmer's market on Saturday mornings). We didn't realize you have to buy all your drinking water in Hawaii [you can buy big jugs at the KTA grocery store with a deposit for the jug and then exchange empty for full ones for cheaper, or better, go find a Water Box to refill your jugs for a third of the cost]. Our host's local contact bought us 4 bottles of water when she heard we didn't have any, which was very thoughtful :) There was a high surf advisory for about 5 days of our stay, and the condo management closed up our back deck for 5 days, as the surf was literally crashing against the condo, so we lost our ocean view, which greatly diminished the enjoyment of staying there and made the condo like a dark cave [though the high surf was exciting upstairs]. If we come back to the Big Island, we'd probably stay in North Kailua-Kona, as we were driving north to find the sun and the nice beaches and snorkeling [like Hapuna, Mauna Kea, beach 69 etc.] almost every day, which is quite a drive from Keauhou. There is good snorkeling at Kahalu'u Bay just 5 minutes from the condo, but if you want a really beautiful beach, you need to drive a bit farther. The hosts were very kind and responsive when we asked them not to have the place sprayed for bugs during our stay [which the condo complex was routinely doing]. This is a good place to stay if you want to be more centrally located to explore Captain Cook and Kealakekua Bay, the Southern part of the Island, and go see the volcano via the southern route.

Great Location for activities.
The property is really convienient to lots of activities and grocery store. My favorite was the walking distance to blue bikes to rent to go toodling about. Also short drive to snorkeling boats and 45 minutes to A-Bay beach. So the week we were at the property the beach adjacent was closed for coral spawning, lol. But we had no shortage of other options and the condo complex has tennis.

Firstly I have to say the owner, Jennifer was so easy to work with. Secondly tho this is an older condo it is nicely updated and very clean with comfortable beds and furniture which is a must for me. This condo is right on the water and close to the pool too. We only had a short stay as we are visiting other islands this trip but wouldn't hestitate to rent again.

The view and location are amazing!
We had a great stay at this townhouse. The welcome card and fruit were a huge hit. The townhouse was clean, beds were comfortable, air conditioning was refreshing, having laundry and a kitchen available was awesome, and the grills by the pool were a nice addition to our meal preparation. The townhome is located near everything yet just far enough away to relax. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai and watching the birds and looking at the ocean (my husband even saw a whale fluke). One of our favorite things to do was walk to the small beach and view the tide pools. We saw a few sea turtles, too. It was hard to leave and we already want to come back.

The property was as advertised. We turned off the air because the breeze off the ocean kept the temperature just fine for us. We appreciate the gifts on the table when we arrived. Communication with the owners was great and helpful. Having a large supermarket only a few minutes away was wonderful because we make almost all of our own meals. The sounds of the waves and watching the sun set every evening is alway was wonderful. Being in a gated community increases the safety factor. Having a tea kettle would be a good addition and larger bath towels and some bath mats for the floor when you get out of the shower would be nice. For most people these might not be important but as one ages one appreciates these additions. Over all we were happy with our stay and would consider coming again on a future trip. This unit we stayed in us amazing! It had a great view and I near so many places to eat and shop.
We had a nice long weekend getaway, just the two of us. The place is exactly how it is described and looks in the picture, very clean and modern. The host is amazing and responds quickly with any questions. The only downside was that I when we were there they had huge waves, which I guess happens during the winter, and the property had to board up the patio and couldn't be used. Other than that we loved falling asleep to the sounds of the waves right outside and loved the smell of FRESH air, we don't get that too much in Phoenix. The husband and I are already planning our return with our kids and hopefully other family members next year.

Clean, well-stocked, very comfortable stay! Absolutely loved sipping my coffee on the lanai every morning gazing at the ocean. Loved having the twin beds for our teenagers! So many VRBOs only have queen beds, which is not as versatile for families. Nice, comfortable living space. Communication with property owner and local contact, was smooth and fast. The A/C was not working when we arrived, and the property manager had it fixed within the hour. There was ample sporting equipment in the closet: snorkels, boogie boards, lawn chairs, tennis racquets... This is a great place to stay!

We have nothing but positives to say about our stay at this condo. The AC in the bedrooms made sleeping at night so comfortable. The lanai with the view to the lava rock and ocean is perfect for morning coffee. The place was very tidy and clean and stocked with everything we needed. The property managers were quick to respond and even allowed us a later check out time. No complaints whatsoever, a perfect place to stay!
