“My #1 Choice Hotel in Israel”
This was the second stay in Jerusalem Gate. I love staying there. It is safe, clean, staff is top notch; well-trained, higly professionaland ver friendly. From the Door Man Greeter, to the Receptionists, to Cafee/room service, and they have the best staff of housekeeping. Touring The Holy Land all day, it meant so much to us to come back to a sparkling clean room, all of our valuables are safe in the room, in addition to the plenty of supply so we didn't't have to call for extra twoels or shampoo, etc. Variety of delecious food for breakfast. Wait staff always on their toes to help and accomedate geusts. The most pleasant stay in any hotel worldwide is theJerusalem Gate Hotel. I traveled to so many countries, stayed in so many five-star hotels and less, but none like Jerusalem Gate. It is the BEST. The wondeful atmosphere, the cleanliness of the hotel and the family-like staff made it our favorite hotel period.
“Very nice staff, comfortable room, location very good, great breakfast ,very accommodating,”
Everything that Expedia told us was right on. The room was satisfactory, the breakfasts were full course selection, the staff was very accommodating and the location was great to get around to places. Extra added attraction was the connection to the mall which made eating and stores, ATM, newspaper very accessible. would stay here again and recommend.
“Hotel Jerusalem Gate à Jerusalem : bon rapport qualite prix”
Que des compliments, seule petite restriction manque chaines television en français
“We would definately stay there again!”
We stayed at this hotel for 6 days and were very pleased with our experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They bent over backwards to help us with our tour arrangements and anything else that we needed. The room was clean & comfortable. We had the included breakfast and dinner and were very pleased with the quality and variety of the meals they provided. The location was also convenient.
“Jerusalem Gate Hotel : ouest de la ville”
Hôtel situé à l'ouest de la ville, à proximité de la gare centrale des bus, situé au dessus d'un petit centre commercial avec distributeur bancaire. Personnel multilingue, sympathique et serviable. Petit déjeuner israelien copieux et varié. La connexion internet wifi , disponible dans les chambres, est payante. Bon rapport qualité/prix.
“Great, no-frills hotel that's clean & comfortable.”
The hotel is clean and comfortable and a bargain for the price that I paid. The staff seemed very pleased (and able) to accommodate any request that I made. The only disappointing aspect was that I was led to believe that there was "wifi" in every room. There is internet access available but you must buy time at the front desk ($6 for 30 min) and use the business station which only has one computer. I would happily stay there again as I am a school teacher and don't care about the frills. I'm looking for a clean, comfortable room at a good price. It's location next to the bus station make it easy to travel to/from the hotel to any place you like.
“JERUSALEM GATE HOTEL Bonne situation entre ancienne et nouvelle ville”
Satisfaction quant à l'hôtel. Personnel prévenant Bien situé dans Jérusalem (taxi bon marché) Devrait donner accès internet gratuit Insonorisation avec extérieur à améliorer Globalement satisfait
“Decent hotel in Israel”
The lobby is beautiful, and I found the personnel very friendly and helpful. The room was small but clean, and had a TV (BBC news the only English channel!). There is a coffee maker and packets of coffee and tea in the room. There are 3 elevators which sounds good, but as others had warned there are MANY tour groups that use the hotel -- when they check in/check out, the elevators which are tiny are often unavailable. The breakfast was decent, although not to my American tastes -- no danish or muffins, the toaster was very slow, no pancakes or waffles or those kind of items: mostly tomatoes, beets, green peppers, goat cheese, and other items I'd consider lunch instead of breakfast. Internet service is available in your room at a charge, but one floor down the internet is free at several cafes. Laundry service is available but the prices are ridiculously high; clearly meant for business travelers. To summarize, it was a reasonable hotel but I would not give it over 3 stars in my rating.
“hôtel conforme rapport qualité prix”
Trés bon service, personnel aimable et serviable, surtout à la reception.Petit déjeuner copieux, varié à l'israélienne, la patience est de mise pour accéder au refectoire.A proximité de la gare centrale de bus.Nous y retournerons sans problémes.
“Great location - rooms functional only”
Popular frum shidduch location, close to central bus station and walking distance from town and attractions. Public areas are fine. Rooms a bit shabby. TV picture was dismal, no fridge, but spacious and adequate. Shabbat lift didn't work, which is a pain if you are high up to avoid noise from the very busy road.
