We had our honeymoon at the Excelsior Belvedere in May 2022 and had the BEST time. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Everything was perfect from booking to check out. Without question, the best staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. Every single person went above & beyond to make our stay enjoyable. All had perfect English & were friendly and knowledgeable. Brilliant location. On a very nice, quiet street, just a stones throw from the main local strip of restaurants & shops. It felt very secluded, peaceful, and exclusive. Really nice & quiet at night. The hotel & our room were both spacious and spotlessly clean. It's an historic building with lots of charm and interest. We could've spent our whole trip just relaxing in the hotel & been happy! Daily turndown service was appreciated with chocolates and water. The pool & spa areas are what holidays are made for. Easy access to the private beach too. Breakfast was very civilised & excellent quality. Beautiful service and lots of fresh food. Freshly squeezed orange juice. All served on the balcony overlooking the pool. We shall return one day and would recommend to all - the perfect hotel. Truly 5 star.

Beautiful hotel, lovely gardens and private beach club part of the hotel and immediately adjacent. Lovely room, five star service but discrete. Fabulous staff and management. Good bar area and terraces including pool restaurant and beach restaurant. Excellent breakfast. Close to restaurants at both ends of town. Drinks all reasonably priced. This is a quiet stylish low key jewel.

Fantastic Stay
Amazing stay with my wife who was pregnant. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodated everything we needed and more (they even went out of their way to get a Special pregnancy pillow). Rooms were high standard and perfectly clean. The sea view was stunning and we preferred to take breakfast on our own terrace every day which was easier than a socially distanced buffet breakfast. All measures were taken to ensure our stay was safe but also extremely comfortable.

Best service ever!
What can I say about this hotel? Everyone was so helpful & no query/ request was too much trouble. The manager in particular went out of his way to look after guests & would give recommendations and hints & tips. I wish we could have stayed longer (& had less stormy weather!) but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. & the kitchen staff also made special efforts to accommodate a special diet. (Just let them know beforehand!) This is definitely a more ‘traditional’ hotel but is so welcoming, I would stay again and again.

The hotel is wonderful. Cozy clean rooms, friendly staff. Amazing area, very pleasant beach. The food is delicious. Breakfast isn 't super plentiful, but it 's what it takes. Bread is above all praise. The quality of the dishes is very high.

Fabulous, friendly hotel. Great to find somewhere super comfortable and not at all stuffy. Beautiful gardens (including two relaxing hammocks), excellent spa, good walking trails with extraordinary views to Capri and the other islands. Breakfast in the sunshine on the hotel terrace - there's even a special table of breakfast cakes! Our room was light and spacious and the service throughout impeccable. Thanks to the team who made our stay so memorable. Journey from Naples to Ischia a doddle (organised by hotel reception). Highly recommended.

Classic Italian 5 star hotel by beach
Lovely hotel, gardens, pool area, spa & beach club. Run by the owner and excellent staff. Good location close to restaurants and bars yet very quiet. Drinks and food reasonably priced. Very relaxing and pleasant. Beach club small but plenty of room with nice bar restaurant.

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff
We had a lovely week's holiday at the Hotel Excelsior. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, and we want to pay a particular thank you to the resident pianist and musician Enzo, whose brilliant keyboard skills enabled us to dance every evening in the beautiful lounge. He was even able to play requests and to play the theme music to Avanti, the film that attracted us to Ischia in the first place. It was a very romantic setting, the pool is just stunning and everything so clean. We would upgrade to a sea-view room next time, but we had a very pretty small balcony overlooking the garden area. The restaurant was very expensive, although delicious food, so we ate out most evenings. Breakfast was superb, all tastes are catered for, and a beautiful way to start the day sitting out admiring the pool from the terrace. The beach is a bit tiny, but with private facilities, so very secluded. If you do go to Ischia, visit the Negombo spa, the Mortella gardens and the castle - but don't try an Ischian bus!!

Excellent Hotel!
This is an amazing hotel. Beautiful! Picked it up online at Expedia. The best restaurant I have eaten in Italy (and I am staying six weeks in Rome), and they let you choose from the menu for a fraction of the nominal price for external (non-hotel) guests. We ate only the buffet the entire time at a price of 20 Euros per person, and that was like a full dinner (several kind of fish, mussels, prosciutto, etc, a cornucopia. But you can choose the main course also for a nominal price, you will eat the best and freshest island food for a fraction what you ould pay in Rome. In a stunningly beautiful island setting. There is a spa with all amenities, a small but functional exercise room. If you ever want to have an outstanding hotel experience on the island of Ischia, or go for a retreat in the south of Italy, go to the Excelsior in Ischia! You will not regret.

最高に居心地の良いホテル！
何かの問題で写真がアップロードできないのが残念ですが、とてもステキなホテルでした。 特に人が素晴らしかったです。レセプションのアレッサンドロは施設を一緒に歩いて回って説明してくれたり、外出から帰ってくると必ずコミュニケーションしてくれて、おもてなしとはこうあるべきだと感銘しました。 食事、特にドルチェはたまらなく美味しいです。絶対に召し上がるべきです。ビーチサイドのカフェレストランでも、質の良い食事が素晴らしい景観の中でいただけます。カメリエーレたちもとても親切で丁寧かつフレンドリーに接してくれます。 ビーチはポルトでは貴重ですが、プライベートビーチもあり、デッキからお城もよく見えて最高の環境です。庭には心地よい風を感じるガゼボや見るだけでも気持ち良いハンモックなど、リラックスするのに十分な環境です。もちろん、イスキアですから、プールは温泉水です。内風呂、ではなくインドアプールというべきですね、夕方以降のお楽しみに、お勧めです。 ヴィアローマのウインドーショッピングは夕食後の楽しみですが、ポルトまで夕涼み兼ねてのそぞろ歩きもロケーションがベスト！ とにかく、時を忘れてリラックスできました。いつもはカプリ島に遠出したりするのですが、このホテルからは一歩も出たくありませんでした。 また次も伺います！

Fantastic!
We had an amazing time at the hotel. This really was the best part of our honeymoon, we got a warm welcome when we arrived at the hotel and the staff did a lot to make our stay special. My only wish is that hotel starts to consider the the environment more, that would make it even more perfect in my opinion.

Elegante albergo nei pressi del mare.
L'albergo è in una zona tranquilla ed elegante a 2 minuti dal centro di Ischia Porto ed è immerso nel verde. Ha un comodo parcheggio. La colazione dovrebbe essere più curata con l'offerta di più prodotti tipici locali. Lo stile dell'albergo è un po datato.

Più attenzione alle esigenze del cliente, nella camera non hanno risolto in 6 giorni il funzionamento della cassaforte. (sollecitata due volte) Nella stanza mancava il cestino adiacente alla scrivania.

Decisamente di alto livello.Personale sceltissimo.
Anche se arredato con un lusso un po' old fashion l'albergo e` molto accogliente e piacevole.La posizione tranquilla e amena ma centralissima e il bel parco sono un valore aggiunto al servizio impeccabile e al ristorante ottimo. Consierge di alta tradizione. Zona termale ben curata ma di media -piccola dimensione.Piscina esterna apprezzabile.Abbiamo goduto molto il soggiorno di inizio stagione nonostante il maltempo.Ritorneremo.
