"I drove out all the way from Utah to spend 2 weeks at this lovely location with my boyfriend. We had a wonderful time enjoying the nearby woods, relaxing by the pond, and driving to the nearby towns and sights! Property Highlights: • Near the road so it’s easy to find, but far enough back from it to be private • Wildlife! Birds, bunnies, frogs, turtles, squirrels, deer, and moose! The frogs serenaded us the whole time • Host was easy to contact about a fallen tree that was cleared the next day • Inside is cute, lots of space • Plenty of blankets and pillows • Furnace worked great when we had an unexpected snow day or the nights got chilly - house warms up fast when it’s on • We had many bumper pool matches with the table in the basement & were glad to have it as an option on rainy days! • The kitchen was well-equipped with pots & pans (we did need to purchase a grater and would have loved sharper paring knives or a good chef’s knife, the ones in the block are mostly serrated) • Plenty of cleaning supplies, hand soap, laundry detergent, paper towels & tp, brooms • Wifi worked perfectly Ways to Improve: • We looked everywhere for bath towels but couldn’t find one, so made do with hand towels • Indoor wildlife! We had a small mouse friend staying with us as well & needed to clean up after it in some places (bedding, kitchen drawers & countertops) • With no tv upstairs it would have been nice to have the one in the basement set up for use there, but we used our laptop & cuddled"

"This place is just as advertised. Clean, quaint, serene. We were impressed right from the start. Exactly what we were looking for, and Kyle was super responsive to all questions. We extended our stay because we didn't want to leave. They've done a great job providing a place with the perfect combination of rustic cottage and contemporary amenities. We'll definitely be coming back."

"The cottage is in a good location, although the property is not large. Summer time would offer more 'outdoor' space. Kitchen is well equipped. Beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool table and downstairs living area, as well as the spacious living room. Seating for 6 at the table and 4 at the counter. Stairs to second level and basement are circular and could be hard to navigate for some. Open concept to upper level. Host was easy to reach and responded quickly and positively to our queries and requests. Highly recommend."

"Stayed there for a friends weekend. It’s spacious, great view of the lake, close to Bobcaygeon. We would stay there again."
