"Great hotel, friendly staff. Good pool facilities"
1 minute walk to sea from hotel rear.great views. The blue burger was the best burger I have ever had, compliments to the chef.not a huge selection on buffet but the quality of the food compensates for this.modern contemporary suits it well.
Loved our stay at this hotel - the best thing was the location - the pool was set in decking and jutted out into the sea giving the feeling that you were on a cruise ship. A short 10 minute walk down the road takes you to illetas beach - a stunning little beach enclosed in a rocky cove. Some great restaurants and bars to choose from all with stunning views.
A trip to the neighbouring resort of portals is a must with its beautiful boats and classy restaurants. You can get there by taxi - takes only 5-6 minutes.
Alternatively you can visit Palma in the other direction - 20 mins by bus or 10 mins by taxi .
Another plus about the hotel was the lovely breakfast buffet - fantastic choice of healthy foods to choose from.
The bedroom was very simply decorated but clean and modern - great shower.
All in all a great holiday - would definitely go again - but would probably go half board next time.
My only criticism was that at breakfast there was no one responsible for showing you to a table which meant that you sometimes had to search for a clean table - however the staff were great and soon came to clear the table and reset it.
The hotel was very busy but quiet at the same time - would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing break.
Pros: location, front desk service, cabs/bus very easy to get to Palma. Can jump right into sea from a dock. Great restaurants to walk to. Pool in hotel room. Room smell, supermarket 5 minute walk.
Cons: no coffee in room (5 euro per cup if you want to pay downstairs with no take away), no iron in room, generally pricey (140 euro for one hour massage, 60 euro lunch for two people)
This is the second year we have been to the Lindner and was just as nice this time. It's only 15 mins from the airport and 5 mins in a taxi from the port. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool is lovely with the sun beds scattered around the garden rather than surrounding the pool which gives you your own space. Would definitely recommend and will be going back
Amazing hotel in a stunning position. We certainly had the best room in the hotel, the balcony and view were second to none. It's in a quiet location but a 20 min walk to the right out of the hotel takes you to a pleasant street with nice little shops and bars. They offer spa treatments and Maria was an excellent therapist. The breakfast and dinner are buffets but good selection and nice and fresh and the outside seating area of the restaurant is beautiful. Pools are lovely and the sea was great to swim in. Plenty of loungers. The room safe comes at a cost of 3 euros per day if your want to use it. If you turn left out of the hotel only 1 min walk down the road takes you to a bar and restaurant called Virtual which has an envious location and lovely food. It's pricey but you're paying for the view! Well worth it. Taxi cost from airport was around 35 euros for approximately 20 min journey. Lovely beach in Illetas as well.
Restful time with excellent facilities and staff who wanted to please. House keeping is a let down with regular reminders needed for complimentary water and coffee as well as a failure to clean all used glasses and crockery.
