"This is a plesant cottage grouping with the host living on premises and keeping the landscaping looking very nice. We missed the peak of the tulips, which is why we chose this area to begin with. It was my wifes birthday and she has never seen the beauty of Holands tulips. Early warm and then a storm left everything pretty much destroyed......BUT......we did visit Windmill Island and ordered some tulips for us to enjoy at home......i am digressing......the property, cottage and surrounding area...

"The house was perfect for a short stay in Saugatuck. We were able to walk to downtown where our dog Chara loved the walks along the dock of the Kalamazoo river. We also enjoyed ice cream at Kilwins and coffee at Uncommon Grounds. Also, we loved the hiking trails at Saugatuck Dunes State Park which is just a short drive away. This place is perfect for a couple with a dog. Thanks for such a nice dog friendly space."

"Just returned from a three night stay at this fabulous home. Four long time friends from different states gathered to to enjoy the weekend in Saugatuck. The home could not have been better! Very clean, well appointed and large enough for each of us have our own bedroom. Bonus for us city people were the deer that came to visit throughout the day. Appreciated all the elements the house offered, the basement theatre and gaming were outstanding but we ended spending most the time in the living room...

"This was our second stay at Jan's Cottage, and it was just as we remembered it. Check in was easy and the place was clean when we arrived. The hosts are friendly and responsive and you can tell take good care of the property, including a well maintained yard w/sitting area that we would have enjoyed if it was a little warmer outside. It is located on a quiet street that is the perfect location to downtown shops/restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon!"

"This is a great property with plenty of space and everything you need for a comfortable stay next to Lake Michigan. You're just a short walk and some stairs away from Lake Michigan (and fantastic sunset views), and the property itself is nestled between Holland to the south and Grand Haven to the north. The house itself is clean and well maintained, comfortably furnished, and offers plenty of room to relax, cook meals, and hang out. While we didn't get to use the patio because of the weather,...

"This property is beautiful, especially in springtime when all the marsh/river critters are active! Binoculars provided (a wonderful touch), prepare to birdwatch. There is one neighbor with a hot tub you can almost see from the backyard, otherwise it is very secluded and private. Did not bother us one bit. Very clean and all the comforts of home provided, the perfect place to get away and enjoy nature. Download the Merlin bird app, you won't be disappointed!! Thanks for a wonderful stay!"

"Our stay here was perfect. Very very clean!!! There were 3 girls who stayed here for a qirls weekend away. Each bedroom had its own bathroom! The hot tub was lovely. The walk to the downtown area is not far at all! We couldnt get the fireplace to work while there, that is the only "negative" part of my review. However, by no means would it prevent us from renting this home again in the future. The staff was very responsive and tried trouble shooting that issue with us and even created a work...
