The staff were very helpful when we had issue with the shower no hot water but was quickly looked after, the only think I find is that when paying for room with credit card thru Expedia we had to pay $400 cash damage deposit this time around as the previous times I paid with credit card I had paid $250 cash maybe I didn’t understand the deposit situation very well but I thought that was high for damage other then that I enjoy my stay

We stayed one night on our way south to Edmonton. Staff was friendly and our check in was easy and efficient. It is not a new property but our room was clean and comfortable. We would happily stay here again.

I paid for a jacuzzi room and they gave it to soneone else. We stayed in a basic queen bed room. They were also very rude. I will never stay there again.

Please if you would like to get in touch with Expedia as they over booked us with this room type and ask them to contact me and I will be glad to make a rate adjustment as you have paid Expedia directly and Expedia paid us.In your review, you forgot to mention that we had to call the RCMP on you because of noise complaints coming from your room and therefore you have disturbed a lot of my guests that early morning as we have received several complaints.Have a great day,Patric

Biggest issue was even when paying with a major cc they still insisted on a $250 deposit and no one around at checkout early in the morning. Rang bell on desk for about 5 minutes and no one came so I had to leave

It will depend on the brand or on the property, but every guest will be asked for it and that amount might be different. I am so sorry for your experience upon leaving the hotel. Hotel was nice. Good breakfast. Stsff member was pleasant but the entire hotel was sickeningly hot from the hallways to the room. Had to crack open a window in the middle of winter to cool it off.

No elevator to 2nd floor and the stairs are steep... we normally get a room on the 1st floor as my truck will be in front of the door.

Disgustingly dirty, rooms damaged and A/C not working. Paid highest rate of a 10 day 2000 mile trip for a dumpy, dirty room with broken A/C. Hell would have to freeze over to stay there again

The room was really nice except the toilet we had, had a tough time flushing. We ate supper in the resaurant in the lobby. The food was good and really reasonably priced. Just a couple turnoffs about the restaurant though. 1. We asked for water expecting free tap water like any normal restaurant would do, but they automatically just brought us bottled water that we had to pay $2.50/ea for. Yes I know, I'm a little cheap, but I don't need to have pop so why not get water that's free? 2. Their oven was broken so I couldn't order anything baked. I understand that things like this happen, but the whole place kind of gave me vibes that they were too cheap to fix it.

Flopped and left.
It was ok. Just a stop and go. Breakfast was meh, not replenished or garbage taken out. No juice left by 8:30. Bagel too hard and stale to eat, we left and went to Starbucks. Place old and doors don’t reach the floor so hallway noise. Floors incredibly crooked and big ledge in floor by bathroom. Hallway stunk of old stale dingy carpet. Room only had hot or hotter water. Had to wash hands quickly because even on straight cold it just got hotter. Couldn’t risk a shower because we were afraid of getting scorched.

The service was friendly and the breakfast was good. The room was quiet and the beds were comfortable but overall the room wasn't very clean. I wouldnt stay here again.

The room was nice with a huge bed and nicely set up. I did not like the smell of the room It smelt like a very old place. Other than that we slept well.

Upon arrival the room was very cold and the only way to heat it up was to use the fire place and when it cut out the room was very chilly. There was a leaky pipe in the wall and I was unable to sleep at all and I had to ask for a room change.
