“Great hotel in a prestige location”
Very nice hotel in an excellent location in Helsinki, which is itself a great destination. This is a top class hotel and all of the hotel facilities are excellent and are priced accordingly - or free. You need to watch the room service charges. We were double-charged a couple of times. Also the internet access is expensive. When we checked out, another guest was complaining that he had the clear impression from their listing that internet access was free. They let him off the charges. The location is perfect for seeing the sights. The tourist information office is just around the corner and guided tours depart from the park across the street. Would definitely stay here again.
“Fantastic stay!”
The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was spacious. And this hotel is literally in the middle of everything Helsinki has to offer. I will definately stay at Hotel Kamp on my return visit to the beautiful city of Helsinki.
“Que de luxe”
Hotel en plein centre, 10 min à pied de la gare routière permettant de venir de l'aéroport par bus. Personnel très agréable et prévenant. La chambre est spacieuse et très propre. Elle est toute équipée jusqu'au parapluie ! On n'entend pas de bruit de l'extérieur ni des autres chambres. En un mot, parfait!
“Gorgeous Hotel”
We had the most wonderful 3 day holiday in Helsinki staying at Hotel Kamp. Despite the grey drizzly weather in April it is a fantastic city to explore. The hotel is absolutely beautiful with a very relaxed, informal vibe but with great attention to detail and a great bar. The staff were always friendly and helpful and the room comfortable and well equipped. Didn't have time to use the Spa -- will have to do that next time ! I am loathe to criticise the hotel for anything but we did opt to treat ourselves to the buffet breakfast in the Cafe which was disappointing for the price - despite the beautiful surroundings and helpful service it was not worth the price tag. A very romantic hotel and city would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxed city break.
“Fabulous Hotel & Restaurant”
This was our honeymoon hotel, it could not have been of a higher quality. The staff all spoke excellent English, were extremely helpful, courteous and respectful. The room was first class and the food in the Kamp Grill was out of this world. First class, tradtional qualities of service. We cannot fault any part of our stay there.
“Just fantastic!”
The Hotel is perfect. Although I had a room with a view to an internal patio, the hotel, the service, room, linens and the big bathroom make this one, probably, the best hotel in Helsinki.
“Best hotel in Helsinki”
Charmng historical and magnificently restored de luxe hotel in the heart of Helsinki. The hotel has a perfect location.
“Understated luxury”
Great hotel with really friendly, professional staff. Needed to see a doctor on my first night there and they sorted it. Excellent rooms even if the view of the inside courtyard is nothing special. However, the food is expensive here. Relatively cheap breakfast to be had just over the road at cafe Fazer. Impressed at how, despite all the snow, nothing stops. A trip on the Suomenlinna ferry, crashing through the sea ice was a real highlight. as was watching the snow sweepers clearing the roofs. Would like to return but I'm not called Rothschild, unfortunately.
“Hotel central a Helsinki”
Hotel tres bien placé a Helsinki. Très bon accueil, chambre calme et comfortable. Petit déjeuner buffet très complet.
“Beautiful Hotel in a Beautiful City”
Hotel Kamp is a luxurious hotel in the heart of Helsinki. Very close to the harbour (5 minutes walk) and fronted by a beautifully maintained city park. Staff are attentive without being overbearing and made us feel very welcome. It is surrounded by many shops both local and chains. It is an excellent choice of hotel to explore the delightful city that surrounds it. The close proximity to the harbour enables you to make full use of the many boat trips Helsinki provides without ending your day with a long trek back to your hotel. The deal we were on didn't give us access to the hotel breakfast which we used once and found to be excellent (if a little expensive). This is not a problem as there are many cafes nearby which make delightful breakfast venues. I would be very happy to return to both Helsinki and Hotel Kamp in the future, in fact I intend to.
