Very lovely Hot springs… enjoyed them very much. Staff need better directions to pool and other amenities of the resort. Rooms are in need of some TLC. However they were clean and comfortable.

I was drawn by the charming history, promised unique hot spring experience, and friendly recommendations. The heritage section where we stayed was rather ghetto (complete with a domestic dispute, which management handled promptly), but nicer accommodations are available at the resort (east wing facing the lake). The pools were over chlorinated and under mineralized, very busy on the weekend, and easily accessible from the hotel. Many visitors stated the resort wasn't what it used to be, although never having visited previously my expectations were balanced. The resort was OK, kinda overpriced, in a beautiful setting. Love to see the property return to the glory days we heard so much about during our stay.

Great heritage site. Only beef is the 'Starbucks' isn't a franchise, but just uses the logo everywhere.... they can't accept a Starbucks Card!

I like the property because it’s got the hot springs that hot tub. However I arrived 330. I wasn’t able to check in and lined up until 430 then I get there. The front desk person told me the room is not available. We will call you I waited till 5 o’clock, then 530 then 545 I went back to the front desk. I said I need a room then they called the manager to come and help me manager says I will upgrade your room because of the delay. He was gonna give give me Oceanview king size bed I walked in. I open the room. It was a double size bed Mountain View/pool view very disappointed as he was given it to me he thought he was doing me a huge favour upgrading the room when I said I don’t need an upgrade, my room then go sit down and wait and disrespectful disregarded my point that I have been waiting already three hours to get checked in .

Very bad service from Harrison resort staff. Front desk people don’t know what facilities they have or not. They don’t pick up phones. Basketball hoop is broken. Tennis court is there but no equipment. Terrible experience

Rooms were a bit antique but were clean. Ours had a garden view which was nice. Had to wait over an hour after check-in for our room to be ready which was really frustrating as we had already waited half an hour or so in the line for the check in. Although pool access was provided during the wait, no towels or robes were provided so had to go back and wait to get those. Felt a bit rushed during the whole check in process. Hot tubs were nice but nothing impressive. Overall impression: overcrowded, ?understaffed and overrated.

When we checked-in before 2 pm, we were given the Heritage building and we were told that our room was ready. Wow that's 2 hours early of the normal 4 pm check-in. We were happy and impressed. But, we were surprised when we got to the room the air conditioner was not working. We called the front desk to complain. They said to wait until the cold air kicks in. That’s what we did, went out and came back after two hours. Still the same still hot in the room like 29 Celsius. Went down to reception, this time a different statement that the whole building has no air conditioning and they know this without mentioning. We were angry that it was not mentioned when we checked it. They didn’t offer any compensation or discount for our inconvenience. We were celebrating an anniversary that weekend and that’s what we got. Not impressed! We went out again and when we returned to our room, we saw a small electric fan outside our door. This is their solution - a small electric fan? Hmmm… not impressed. We talked to some guest in the pool and they said they too have no air conditioner. They were told that it will not be fixed until June 1st. So frustrated.

This was my first time at the resort. My boyfriend has been before. I enjoyed the pools. I enjoyed the walk to the hot springs. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Definitely coming back!

The air conditioning was not working and they wouldn't give us a discount. Had dinner in the cob room. Dinner was horrible. They were not accommodating check in time 4 o'clock room wasn't ready till 10 after four for how much you pay a night and you can't check in till 4 o'clock and you have to be out at 11 was ridiculous Carpets really old dirty and stains all in the carpet bathtub had rust. Old old wallpaper.
