Not at all what we were expecting
As far as location- this property is fantastic! Unfortunately, this property is way past due for some repairs. Almost every piece of bed linen had stains on them and same thing goes for the towels. Every single towel in the master had the same issue. Took a bunch of pics to send to the owner but just never did. Put them all in the laundry and made do with what we had. We were just in Hanalei in Nov of 23 and stayed at a property almost around the corner and it was amazing. For the money we paid for this property, you are better off looking for something else. Not have clean/stain free sheets and towels is just not acceptable.

A little piece of heaven
I stayed here for a week vacation with my sister and 6 year old son. We absolutely loved the house and location. The decor was very comfortable and there were numerous locations throughout the house to enjoy the surrounding scenery. The home was well-equipped and we enjoyed using the boogie boards and beach equipment. The best part is the location. This is my favorite beach and we were within a block of the main beach parking. Mahalo for sharing your home and island!

Wonderful family vacation!
We loved our week at this property. Location is perfect, the two primary bedrooms are on the same level (great for families with small kids), and everything was super clean when we arrived. For a rental house, I appreciated the body wash in the bathrooms and outdoor shower, soap, a few basic first aid supplies and access to cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, and starter supplies of other household basics. The house also has tons of great beach supplies (boogie boards, sand toys, a wagon, we noticed a puddle jumper for toddlers) - it felt like the owners/property management company really thought about how to make things easier on families with kids. The house itself has some features that are on the older/quirky side (windows/screens are not the easiest to open/close, the top level loft gets very hot), but the quirks were super minor, and overall we loved the house. The wrap-around porch and outdoor spaces were also great!

Great location in Hanalei
Wife and I have stayed in multiple rentals all over Hanalei. This was our first trip with our 3 year old. Especially loved the location here - just a block from beach access / lifeguarded park. House was very comfy. Especially loved all of the beach toys, bikes, beach wagon (perfect for lugging a 3 yr old to and back from the beach) umbrellas, chairs, coolers, etc. We would definately stay here again.
